He could be our Horton. OU’s freshman coming off TJ who dominated the last 4-5 weeks and turned himself into a top prospect.

We have some excellent pitching talent coming in. Have to feel very optimistic about next year. We were a little "early" this year ...

A few other interesting points.
The teams in Omaha are at a disadvantage recruiting because teams that are our are able to push for decisions & have visitors while Omaha teams are still playing.
It sounds like Schloss is not playing around with the expansion. He wants it to be the best stadium in the sport like Kyle Field, not just a nice OF addition.

I'm beginning to think we will tear down the stadium and build a new one from scratch. It may move as well, since he spoke about "location". Only so much you can do with the stadium right up against the tracks
But man, our pitching will be 10X better next year, especially with the maturation of Dettmer, Cortez, Rudis, etc. And the incoming transfers are very, very talented.

Tearing it down seems pretty unlikely
And if they do that it will obviously move, since we would need an actual place to play while they do that. But still, not happening

I think the son of the late Terrence Kiel just committed to play baseball here as a 2024 prospect out of Georgia
