Does Dox kind of remind you of Roy O at all?

home plate has a huge zone tonight. Inside. Outside. Down. Up. If it's close, you best be swinging.

I always compare lefties to other lefties

Oswalt was more of a fastball 12-6 curve guy but body type I can see. And maybe delivery but again, I have a tough time comparing RHP to LHP because I lack imagination I guess.

Pitching style...maybe Derek Holland? I dunno really.

I was thinking body type, works quickly, quick windup that’s a little jerky.

yeah, I can see that. I am trying to put my finger on the arm motion. They both have that quick arm motion that appears a bit jerky because there's little backwards extension.

I know we’re not racking up hits but there have been some loud outs.

Indeed. We look ready for this game. A lot more aggressive at bats.

Dox with 90 pitches through 7. I think you trot him out one more.

It's going to be a tense year if Kalich is going to be our closer

A power righty makes sense to close with our lefty starters, but damn. This zone is giant. Find it.

Whoop!

Now that it's safe to admit... who else got nervous when Dox left the game? I sure did.

No score in the top of the 2nd. Lacy looks a little wild tonight. Hopefully he calms down a little.

Also frick those frogs!
