So the next 2 series are @UK & vsMU. We really need to be 6-3 or better before the Lsu games. After that it doesn’t let up. Even Bama looks good this year.

So up to #13 in D1 and #17 in BA. Good to see but I still have reservations about this team. Hopefully this weekend's hitting continues.

Also we still have series vs MSU, LSU, Arkansas, & Auburn. All ahead of us in D1. Plus a midweek vs tu.
We could be a legit top 15 team and still lose most of those games.

Not 100% sure. They may want to keep the PC down so he can pitch this weekend. He was dealing and racking up Ks before he walked a few and gave up a run on a sac fly.

Yeah that's probably it. RC likes to do that (and it annoys me but whatevs). I was worried when I saw the partial inning and the stat line that maybe he got hurt. You don't often see 2.2 IP 5ks and just pulled.

Our 18-5 record results in an RPI of 37.
That currently puts us 6th in RPI in our 7-team division

No worries about RPI at all. I just don’t want to slip up too much more in ooc then get to 15 (stretch goal of 17) wins in conference. Hit the stretch and we’re hosting. Miss it and we’re a strong #2.

I’m ready for UK. They beat our arse last year and things stayed pretty heated between the 2 squads.

I'm not either. In fact, my point was somewhat the opposite. We've played 11 Quad 4 games already which is awful. But our schedule from here on out is packed with top RPI teams.
I actually think .500 in the West will make us borderline and we may be playing the SEC tourney to host.
