I do love how easily I can read his lips when he is talking to officials.

The great gif of him saying "That's bullshite", last night when he was wagging his finger saying "You missed that. You missed that one."

He has a pretty good straight face I know we won't get this back but you and I both know you are wrong face. It cracks me up.

One player who was a key to the game has been kinda forgotten about by all of us as we've seen so many emerge in this game but his performance wasn't overlooked by the most credible 'opinionators.

Trevor Daniel had one helluva game. Special teams, playing for the breaks, and making the fewest mistakes were the key to this game just as Lord Neyland told us.'

He needs to legally change his last name to Colquitt

No doubt. You know he's on track to be the all time great if he keeps it up? He's about to smash some records.

First off, he doesn't want to play tackle.

I posted this back in the summer when it was being asked, but it comes down to weakening two positions.

Coaches felt Smith would be one of the best 4-5 guards in the league and Richmond and Tatum/Kendrick would be more than adequate at tackle.

You move Smith to tackle and he is capable of playing it but I don't think they think he would be much of an improvement over the other 3 at this point in his career and Kendrick and Jones at guard makes that position worse as well.

I think you will see him play guard for the next 3 years. He will be one of the top interior guys in America without a doubt.

Tatum's health may play a factor, but I'm interested to see who is benched with Richmond back.

Richmond at LT, Robertson at C and Smith at RG locked in. Kendrick will play either LG or RT depending on whether they're more comfortable with Tatum or Jones.

Callaway reminded me a lot of Cordarrelle Patterson

After all the negativity about the inexperience in our run game, I was glad to see Motor City show out. He has something fierce about his running that is great to watch. I am a little surprised that we didn't see Ty Chandler more than once, but hopefully this week he will get a few more snaps.

Stoked about the run, an our O line held up decently and gave Dormady time. It just seemed like everyone on offense took most of the first quarter just to shake off the dust. Agree with OP, Callaway made Dormady better than he would have been, but all those drops made him worse than he should have been as well. Wolf, Jennings and Byrd all dropped passes in the first half that were spot on. If Dormady can make better decisions and the line holds up, he will be a decent game manager with the ability to wow once in a while.

The Warrior/xylophone tag-team was great. They showed the replay and the GT QB's face was just wedged up under that thing. Reminds me of Dobbs getting chucked into a xylophone after running in a touchdown against UGA last year. I think it was our first TD in that game if anyone is curious.

If Smith wants to play G for the next three years I'm fine with that. There are only a handful of players I can recall that were good enough at G to make that position at least as valuable as OT and he's one of them. It helps that we have some studs coming in on OL as well and I do believe that Tatum will be really good once he gets some more experience.

That said, I do worry about what you said about Hall a while back. We'll need him at OT if for no other reason than depth if Smith sticks to Guard.

Exactly. And you know damn well that Cade being from here just like Smith and a legacy to boot is going to give him some extra drive. He's going to want to do exactly what Smith has done and make waves immediately. That said, OT is a MUCH harder position to play as a true frosh. He may start off at another position.

Let's not forget about Evan Berry either. Good to see him looking like his former self on the kick off returns. Apparently he suffered a little injury though - any idea what it was and when he'll be back?

I read on another board that Chandler will probably be returning kicks this weekend so Berry can be 100% for Florida next week

Good, hopefully he, CFA, and Jordan get 80% of the snaps Saturday as well.

Put both Berry and Chandler back there and tell UF to pick their poison. But just having Berry standing there and forcing them to kick short or away is a win.

Piniero probably has the biggest leg in CFB. Like 75% of his kicks were touchbacks last year iirc

Just gives Berry 10 yards to get up a head of steam if he kicks to the back of end zone.

On a side note, I'm starting to wonder what's going to happen to our game against them. Irma looks fricking bad and their entire state is going to be beyond a mess in the aftermath.
