The Grove is the most overrated tailgating in the SEC. It’s not the worst, but clearly not the best and the differential between the actual experience and Ole Miss fans perception is astronomical.

You do know that the guy that brought them the food out today was Chef Tory McPhail who used to be the executive chef at Commander’s Palace right? Oxford has 4 Michelin Guides restaurants in a town of 30k.

And the best you could do was sweet tea and chicken on a stick?

It’s a legitimate jab. MS food sucks.

Quit trying to make something out of nothing.

Ive eaten at Ajax Diner and thought it was really good. Liked that you could get dressing as one of the veggies on the vegetable plate.

I will give LSU its flowers. Having married an LSU girl and going to her friends’ tailgates the food is ALWAYS top notch. Could do without the mid 50 year olds a couple of tents over grinding each other to Soulja Boy…but the food is good.

No one goes to MS for the food.

I can’t say the same about LA.

I’ll take McCallisters ahead of Panera every time… plus their sweet tea is really pretty good.
