It’s like a competition to see who looks most ridiculous.

Because you touch yourself.

Guessing you were once in a band? What instrument did you play and do you still have your uniform? Pics?

Only immature a-holes make fun of the band/dance/cheer. Those band members are better at what they do than anything you’ll ever do in your life.

This kids work their asses off and have to wear those uniforms in the summer.

They are artsy-fartsy band people. They always do weird stuff. Mostly liberal fat girls and cuck hippie guys.

This is my daughter's first year of marching band and that shite is running us ragged. They started practice in early July. We have practice, games, competitions and parades/other functions that she has to be at all the time. Last weekend we got home from an away game around midnight and had to have her back at school at 8am Saturday for a competition two hours away that lasted until 9pm.
First year and I'm already sick of it.

Yeah, I’ll give you the artsy fartsy weird thing. Doesn’t change the fact playing an instrument at that level, and doing the whole marching thing on top of it, is a hard thing to do and takes skill and years of work.

College marching bands wear uniforms with tall hats (called shakos) and feathers (plumes) because their style comes directly from 19th-century military marching units and bugle corps

Stanford has some good ones.

Another thing about liberal artsy-fartsy music kids. They are the majority of every major music act you have lived and died with your entire life. Jimmy Page and Robert, Pink Floyd, Whatever lame arse country you listen to, most pop stars, etc…
They are all liberal artsy fartsy music kids.

After researching it more since we have some sensitive ones in this thread: impressed by the dedication. Most major in music to get scholarships. I’d still recommend a more employable major though, like engineering or business. Or do they force you to major in music?
Sounds awful, like a prison camp. Is it really worth all that?

Most students in college don’t get full scholarships and have to hunt and stack as many partial scholarships as they can. Might as well use a talent if you can.

Maybe having piped in music would be easier.

No I was an engineering major. The stipend was a nice bonus along with an easy A in the fall.
