There's more parity in the SEC this year. OOC I think the SEC has fared well. Minus OU losing to Mich, I can't think of another P4 game the top 2/3s of the SEC has lost.
There haven't very many marquis matchups vs OOC teams either outside Texas/Ohio St so not much to measure.

Been down last 3 years SEC won't get benefit of doubt for cfp spots not producing in post season and take more deserving teams spots in other p3 conferences

It's just balanced out again. Some are ahead of other and some are down during the adjustments and new coaches but top to bottom isn't as drastic on a given week as it's been recently.
