All conferences are down!!
The best teams of today are not like the best teams pre-portal and pre-NIL.
They lack the depth of those prior teams.
Programs can't stockpile 5 and 4 star talent like cord wood as they did prior. Kids who don't get playing time go elsewhere. Don't like your compensation because your program has maxed out its cap, go to another program.
The last team that was stacked were the 21 and 22 Georgia teams. People wanted to compare Indiana to 2019 LSU. Hah! Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Delpit, Queen, Chaisson, Lewis, Cushenberry are or were starters in the NFL. That '19 Bama team was stacked as well. That rarely happens now.
Parity is just another word for a more homogeneous, regression to mediocrity.
