Legit. Not hyperbole.

You’d be playing for championships. And would eventually win one.

This conference is a three loss conference or two loss most years. And your fan base is not the type of folks that will tolerate losses and share the spotlight of the conference with others on the way to a championship. You aren’t Bama or Georgia. You’re more like ND.

It would serve you far better to only have three legit teams to play per year than having to play 9.

Aggies can’t pull that off. We don’t have the brand to have a loss in the Big 12 and still make it. But you do.

It was a monumental mistake coming here.

It really was.

I think we all agree that the SEC was better when Texas Mizzou Aggies and OU were not in the SEC. We all wish you would leave.

Honestly you may get your wish if Texas continues to lose. I see Texas and OU leaving.

But Aggies won’t ever be tied to Texas again and need the SEC way more than Texas and OU do. We ain’t leaving.

If we could go back to the original Big 8 I'd be all for it.

Since we can't Mizzou is better off in the SEC.

The destinations are better, the girls are prettier and the sky is bluer.
(Anyone?)

Plus the checks are awesome! Have you seen the stadium expansion in CoMo?

But you would grab an invite to the Big Ten if you got one, right?

Aggies have wanted to be in the SEC since before the SWC formed. But the state was blue then and aligned with Austin. Now it’s red.

We won’t go anywhere as long as there are more conservative legislators than progressives.

We will be here a long long time. Texas and OU will leave unless you guys start letting them buy refs.

this is funny because you guys have been talking about going to the B1G ever since Texas joined the SEC LMAO

soft arse school always running away from your problems. this is pure projection.

and a 24 team playoff will be filled with 3 loss teams.

Look up winning averages over the past 15 years of each team. And if that’s not significant how about since I’ve been watching the past 40. They are identical winning percentages in the aggregate comparison.

Identical. Even though they were in different conferences for 13 of those years.

So the statistical 15 year trends and 40 year trends are not your friend.

I wouldn’t. Rose-tinted goggles. Our program historically struggled in the Big Eight/Big 12, outside of the 60s with Devine and the second half of the 00s with Pinkel. The SEC has undeniably elevated our program and the games are simply better. Sure, I miss playing ku every year. And it would be nice to have Nebraska on the schedule. But this is simply better.

You don't understand the hrn mindset. Winning is nice but not necessary. However, making the most money is non-negotiable. Horn admins would never sleep at night knowing Vanderbilt made more money on their media rights.

I had this same thought yesterday. All Texas would have to do is pull of off 4-5 hard games per year to get to a title game. That’s just more likely to do than 10+ hard games. (We are including playoff games here)

That said, the SEC regular season is pretty lit.

Pate had a nice video about his ideal conferences. SWC and Big 8 were there if memory serves.

I mean no disrespect. But I honestly don’t understand why you don’t do what ND does and be aligned with a weaker conference or go independent and only play a schedule you build to win.

The fact that you have chosen to be in this league baffles me.

Truly.
