Which statistically is not relevant. One individual outcome does matter. Only large data sets matter when making these types of grandiose statements.

It’s interesting now Arkansas and SC worked in the SEC but the other expansion teams don’t. Missouri obviously is just too remote geographically and culturally. Texas and Oklahoma seem like they should work but I guess they are too “southwest” not “southeast” enough. It’s a slight culture mismatch that throws off the whole vibe.

Only an Aggie would discard head to head results against the very program he's comparing himself to as "not relevant."

Aggies and mathematicians and statistical experts. Of which, I am all three.

Usually, mathematician or "statistical experts" (fricking retarded btw) would have some numbers to back up their argument.

Over the past 40 years Texas averaged 8.28 wins per season. A&M 8.05. Not even a third of a game difference. Over the last 15 years the averages are identical. 8.2 games won per season each.

There’s your data sir. Now I’m sure you could cherry pick another set of data that says the opposite. But that’s exactly the point. There is no consistent statistical correlation on games won per average throwing out an anomaly seasons and impassioned rivalry games that demonstrated a certain confidence that one team is certainly better than the other. If you are constantly better any selected set of 15 year spans should demonstrate that with at least one game better on average. At least.

You aren’t constantly beating Aggies. That’s simply not supported by the data.

Now if you do ND and A&M. Or Bama and A&M the data is far different.

You aren’t what you think you are.

But back to the original point. You don’t need to beat Aggies to consistently win titles.

Now do variance, which tells you A&M is literally Texas 8-4 while Texas swings wildly between 5-7 and 12+ win seasons.

Seriously, Texas A&M has the smallest variance of any name team because you basically always go 8-4. While Texas occasionally rises up and plays for something meaningful.

14-3 since 2000 tells a different story ;)

Variance by definition is not what happens on average.

So your argument is that every once it a while the data skews towards Texas more than Aggies.

Okay. So?

You’ve never won a title when not in a league you didn’t build. I’m not sure you’re self aware.

I say this with respect. You should build your own league. Because you can.

By your average wins per season analysis, A&M, Texas, and LSU are all the same program. It’s misleading and you obviously know that. Solid troll though, big improvement from your usual tripe.

They are on average. In terms of wins per season.

I don’t know what you don’t understand. If you compare to ND. Or Bama. Or Ohio State. Or Georgia. It’s not the same.

I’m just trying to emphasize that you’re not Ohio State or Georgia or Bama or ND. On average you win 8 games a season whereas on average those other teams win 10.

It’s facts bro. Facts are hard. I know.

That and I’m also trying to emphasize that to get the wins at that level you have the power to do so by structuring the league as those teams do.

It’s not an accident Georgia has never had to play at Kyle. It’s not an accident that Bama didn’t get holding calls for a decade. It’s not an accident that ND and tOSU play absolutely no one. They actually went to a title game playing only 6 games one season.

That could be Texas. But no. You care about money so much that you’ve literally sold your wins and titles for money.

yes, Georgia controls the schedule and they chose to go to Baton Rouge and Tuscaloosa a combined 3x instead of Kyle. Delusional

Hate agreeing with both Sneezy and Rodo, but you are both correct. Leaving the Big XII which Trans and OU controlled (with Trans the senior boss and OU as kid brother who can kick big brother's arse but still works for big brother) was the dumbest move ever. It was (or should have always been) a two team fight to win the conference every season.

In this new 24 team playoff, both would get into the post -season every. single. year. Conference championships (while they still exist) could be played geographically close instead of Atlanta, Nashville and Hoover, AL.

Trans gave up their own damned TV network.

Last night we watched BYU take a commanding lead over the Big XII.

But... as Rodo correctly says, the super rich TransFans who donate all of the money and get to make decisions don't give a shite about football. They are the ones flying in their private jets to visit me for the game in November. They are flying to New Orleans Friday to wine and dine and have been planning our meals and parties for months. On Saturday they are literally flying their private jets from New Orleans to Baton Rouge which will take more time than for me to drive, but they don't care.

Half of the people coming told me that after the loss yesterday, they are leaving the LSU game at Halftime because they want to get back.

All Trans cares about is the word SEC and the money. They also like the name of the brands in the SEC over having "boring" games against schools like BYU and Houston and Iowa State and UCF. They have to be at the popular table.

Other programs who just want to win at any cost wouldn't care if the path meant playing a conference of lesser teams that you dominate every season as long as it means you have a chance to win, but this is not how TransFan thinks.

you think we'll see many 5-7 teams in the 24-team pool? Because Texas went 5-7 FOUR times in the the 2010s in the Big 12.

In an era where you can pay players, Texas will always have enough talent to get to a 24 team playoff.

If the CFP was still 4 teams, your argument would be correct.

TansMike, stop projecting. This is your answer to what I wrote?

You have no idea where someone gets their diplomas just because we have a symbol next a profile name... Typical TransFan.
