Tennessee has reached their ceiling with him. Makes bone headed decisions in close games. And, what does he do well besides hire good DCs?

Tennessee would be idiots to get rid of him. He is a shitty coach but he has stabilized the program as a 9-3 type program and has held his own against Alabama. Fire him and they disappear again for 2 decades. With that said it’s Tennessee…they probably fire him….

He’s stabilized the program and raised it back to respectability but looks like he’s reached a ceiling - even with UTs large NIL collective. Who are they going to get that’s better?

Heupel has brought them out of the dark ages. You have to give him a lot of time to see if he can put it together for a run.
