The cynicism on this board is amazing.
I’m no Cruz apologist but my goodness - do a little research and see what he’s done.
Passed the bipartisan Cruz-Klobichar “Take it down act”
Took over as Chair of the Commerce Committee (pretty big deal)
Sits on the Judiciary and Foreign Affairs committees
Here’s a link to legislation he is currently sponsoring or co-sponsoring LINK

He’s got a very successful podcast - just got syndicated on radio. He details all he’s doing.
Give it a listen.

Grizz are atrocious.
Firing a coach with 9 games left in the season. They were scoring 140 with regularity running his offense before the break.
Ja is a generational talent but he’s not leader nor should you build a team around him. He’s always hurt and he’s a liability. Trade him while he still has come capital. Move on.

The safety net is not a hammock. We have made it one.

Bama game - That replay on the bases loaded full count strike out is terrible.

Lack of accountability is getting old. American is screaming for it - that’s why so many of us are cynical.
We have been waiting for accountability for Hillary and her campaign shenanigans since 2016.
No accountability for the BLM riots.
No accountability for Russian collusion hoax.
No accountability for the derailment of Trumps first term.
No accountability for COVID’s origins from Dascak and Fauci.
No accountability for the blatant lawfare observed the last few years.
No accountability for hiding Biden’s mental status and unelected handlers running the country.
You get the picture.

Even if you are right - Trump and DOGE know that the status quo is unsustainable and will destroy this country. We are > $30 trillion in debt. Waste, fraud, and abuse are rampant.
Seems like he is willing to take the heat for the necessary measures to right this ship so that future administrations and our country can live in continued prosperity. Other administrations didn’t want to touch these third rails.

Murder is wrong. Period.
In a country that is screaming for accountability - this cannot go unpunished.
There are more constructive ways to address the insurance issue than vigilante justice & cold-blooded murder.

Chief Justice Roberts: if you care about the integrity of an independent judiciary then fix this issue.
These judges are destroying the reputation of the court.

Separation of powers is working.
Judicial branch checks the activity of the executive.
The executive appeals to the legislative to due the potential political bias of said judicial branch representative.
Legislative branch decides to impeach or not.
Meanwhile, appellate judge in judicial branch corrects or upholds its own.
Executive deals with the outcome.

A .296 conference winning percentage and a 0-18 in conference record speaks for itself. They got worse every year.
A good coach works around injuries. Sometimes things just don’t work out and you need a fresh start.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a jump ball called when the defender had one hand on the ball for less than a second. Impressive.

One, maybe two, SCOTUS Justices will be willing to ignore the plain language of the Constitution to support Trump.
The only play is to have them narrowly define “subject to the jurisdiction” - meaning not owing allegiance to another power.
A citizen of Mexico is entitled to partial jurisdiction here but not citizenship (complete jurisdiction) by way of being on our soil.

To the victor go the spoils. Agreed.
But the 14th Amendment was not a “usual process” nor did it accurately reflect the will of the people who are the Sovereign in this country sufficient to amend our Constitution without duress.
The Southerners were rightly considered fellow citizens after the war ended. Their elected representatives voted against it - interestingly AFTER they had ratified the 13th Amendment and BEFORE the Reconstruction Acts.

Well…… the ratification of the 14th amendment is a pretty interesting history.
Holding states hostage by disallowing representation in congress in order to pass an Amendment is hardly “usual process”. Neither is military occupation of state legislatures.
