I’m not complaining, but I do think their resume warrants being ranked.
Honestly, it’s because of preseason polls. Just compare Alabama and Auburn right now. Alabama started high, lost to Tennessee and Georgia and they’re ranked 13. Auburn started low, lost to Tennessee and Florida and they’re unranked.
Preseason polls are pointless and a poll shouldn’t come out until week 4 or 5.
And I’m not saying Auburn is better than Alabama. I don’t think they are.

A 10 point loss to Tenn and a 5 point loss to UF and a win on the road vs #1 UGA.
Auburn should be in the 18-22 range in the polls.

A lot of posters here argue
1. that the SEC 9 game slate is much tougher because of how often Georgia plays a high stakes, immensely physical, down to the wire game at Alabama then has to face Auburn instead of Rutgers the next week
2. Then argue that Georgia should drop a bunch in the polls for only going 1-1 in those games

They're auburn, who cares.....They're gonna lose today anyway. Georgia dropped the ball big time after beating Bama.
