Does Everyone Remember the State of the USC Program When Kiffin Took Over?

They were the premier program in college football. Absolutely dominant.
How long did that shite last? Like 5 days? What on Earth were LSU fans thinking thinking that he would somehow be able to do something at LSU based on logic that had already failed spectacularly at USC?
Sorry if there has already been a thread on this subject, but I haven't seen one...
LSU fans will tell you that the logic here was that he could get better talent in Baton Rouge than he had access to at Ole Miss, but we have already seen how shitty he is at an even MORE premier program (relative to the times) than what we are talking about here.
How could they have possibly thought things would be any different than what he has always been?

They were just handed the worst ncaa penalties since SMU got the death penalty and were coming off a 4 loss season that included losses to 5-7 Washington, 8-5 Arizona, and 8-5 Stanford by 34 points.

They were 9-4 the year before he was hired, 8-5 his first season, and 10-2 in year 2.
It's actually kind of sad that some people need attention so bad, that they'll say something stupid on a Saturday night, just so someone will respond and recognize they exist.
