Is that always a good thing? It’s a public school that’s not available to 95% of the public. I can understand an expensive private school being this way.

Texas A&M will have just as many Indians as Texas in 5 years, they just won't be as smart as the ones in Austin.

Texas is a difficult school to get into. Texas has slipped notably with its K-12 education standards and unregulated Christian schools that focus on teaching an agenda rather than education. Result…UT holds high admission standards and student body is less localized.

This is a land of people who would not claim to be "native" to anywhere other than the United States. The problem with our current method of immigration is the importing of people who swear allegiance to somewhere else.

On average? Of course. Test scores and admission rates bear that out.
Do I think that matters a whole lot beyond message board shite posting? No, not really. Both are great schools and I'd be happy to have my kids attend Texas A&M.
