With the right combination of healthy players, environment, circumstance, no win is guaranteed. Pretty wild what NIL has done.

Players have always gotten paid. Transfer portal has changed everything. Mercenary culture. It takes more than a year to properly install offenses and defenses, teams have no rhythm. Kirby has done an excellent job of mitigating this by evaluating hs talent really well. They just plug a few spots each year.

Yes, lots of lesser teams from outside the SEC getting invites they would never have gotten in the past.
My dislike of B1G f*ck*ng up college football in the past 20 to 40 years grows more and more.

This was the case for most of the 2000s, especially if your team was playing on Jefferson Pilot Sports.

I get your point but there is a definite bottom of the league who isn't beating anyone. If you're referring to Vandy having a lead (no longer), that is why we play 4 quarters.
