I have no dog in this fight; Bama got completely fricked by the refs. Multiple game changing calls/no calls. Would it have changed the ultimate outcome? Who’s to say, but it definitely happened and any jawja fan probably realizes it.

Go back and watch the game. There was 3 blatant holding calls on big plays, one on Russell's big run that led to a Bama FG and one on their TD. So, yeah, we got screwed too. Its a wash...we were the better team.

The refs refused to call holds on Bama in the first half. Bama got away with an egregious one on their first TD. We also had a TD called back for a hold.
People have the memory of a goldfish and can only concentrate on the missed PI call (it was PI I agree).

With NIL and expanded playoffs, there’s no need for the the league to “protect” the top teams anymore. If you think Alabama would get the same whistle as Arkansas back in the BCS days…I don’t know what to tell you. I have said this since time immemorial. Hire PROFESSIONAL refs. It’s too much money involved today for stuff like yesterday to occur.

You really believe that a couple of missed holding calls trump an overturned interception, a no call on a blatant PI and not issuing offsetting personal foul penalties.
