Halftime, and Auburn and Bama COMBINED have less than 100 yards passing. 59 for Bama, 40 for Auburn. Wow.

This Alabama team is arse and we decide to give them 17 points by putting Ashton Daniels (???) in an empty backfield most of the 1st half. Can't make this stuff up.

That could be the only leverage OM feels they have at this point. And they could have made a condition with him:
If Ole Miss gets the SECCG, then he can hang out and coach.
If not, then they may feel they have time to prep the interim for the playoff push.
But, if I'm Ole Miss, I let Lane coach it out, come what may be. That's the best chance they'll ever have for any kind of real glory.
