Would be pretty funny if he chooses Clemson.

I mean...I can see where Dabo would be hard to turn down.

We'll see.

It'll be easier once we take Sanders, Webb, Dean, Neal and/or Wright from you along with adding Haselwood.

Best of luck

The Carter news is good news for UGA as well. He was being put on hold by Bama.

We're still RBU, I don't think that narrative will change after this class is done.

UGA and Bama are definitely 1 and 2 in recruiting. May come down to a guy from Mississippi to decide their fate.

I think you mean Bama and uga are 1 and 2 and it's staying that way for the foreseeable future.

Just calm down. I've said what I've said and you can get your kicks in when all is said and done.....or maybe not.

More than anything, it just knocks me off my “Webb is a lock to Dawgs” which is where our fan base and I myself have been about him for awhile.

Not all Georgia fans. I haven't been. I rarely think of any player as a lock when Alabama is interested in them. I am with you. I hope we get him, but I wouldn't call him a lock.

I honestly can't think of a single funny thing about it!

No, it's not. Carter is taking Christian Williams spot. We upgraded.

Y'all have two Heisman winning RBs in last decade?

Obviously.

If you're referring to Dean, then it's over. He's going to Alabama.

Thank you. Our staff hasn't been made aware. I'll see if I can get in contact.

It’s hard to see a scenario where Dean isn’t at Bama at this juncture. The best shot was probably Ole Miss if they hired Golding. If they hire Lanning at DC, it might be interesting.

This will be a fun next two weeks. Both UGA and Bama seem to feel good about their chances with Dean, Webb, and Sanders. Even seeing some positivity surrounding Evan Neal and his OV this weekend with Nolan Smith.

Honestly hard to tell at this point which side is in the right and which side is playing off of hubris; both have great programs and opportunity to sell and both have ace recruiters to sell it.

Next 10 days are going to be something.

Bama coaches think his the best CB in the country, sure he was on hold. Where do you come up with this stuff?

Carter wasn’t being put on hold. Like Kirby is prone to do, I think Saban recognizes the need for momentum heading into the 19th and with Tua on a national stage, it made sense to tell Hill and Carter to announce their flips to either build on the momentum of Tua winning or make up for the loss. Either way, it was a savvy PR move. Both Saban and Kirby know what they’re doing; these classes have for the most part been lined up for some time and now it’s just strategizing your dominoes to fall at the right time so as to influence the guys who are not yet decided

While ALL TEAMS always want to be #1 in recruiting, I do like to look at average ranking per recruit. If Kirby closes like a freight train (don't even know what that means but I like the way it sounds!) and Bama has higher overall score because they sign 3 more guys but our average score per player is better, I will consider it a win. Last I heard, Bama signing 28 and Georgia more like 25.

Both sites stop counting at 20. It's your top 20 recruits. The only advantage in signing more is you have more flexibility in who you take. For instance, if UGA needs a 3 DBs and 3 Olinemen, they'll sacrifice a five star Olineman for a 3 star DB if the DB is needed more, though he may not be as talented.

This hurt Bama some last year as they only had room for 22.

This year is seeing more head to head recruiting between the two schools.

Dean, Sanders, Webb, Wright are being fought over hard. I'm hearing we're making headway for Neal also now. Different story from last night.
