Alabama is finishing #1. Just like they did in Atlanta. And will in California.

I thought the recruiting board didn't allow trolls.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but why even make posts like this?

If this is trolling, then so is predicting you'll win a game and so on. No, this is not trolling. I believe this will happen based on what I'm hearing from coverage and a friend of a friend of a connected person.

Melt? Nope. Post has nothing to do with anger over the loss on Saturday.

Why did I post this? Because I believe it. And I'm proud of how well this staff does their job.

As I said, feel free to roast me if I'm wrong. Not at all meant as a troll.

He made a misguided, yet reasonable post. It was not a troll. I mean, we might finish first. I don't think we will, but it is possible.

The responses to his post are definitely trolls, though. They are statements designed to get a negative reaction.

If you don't mind sharing, who are you expecting to fall to UGA?

I understand that it is a friend of a friend of an old roommate type situation. I'm curious to look back and see how accurate it is.

From following the message boards and CBs, I have been under impression that Clay Webb would pick Dawgs over Bama - but just heard a “relative” scenario whisper where he goes to Bama - this was the guess of said relative.

If that happens, it will slow down the “We getting everyone” mantra. Hope I am wrong and my info isn’t rock solid - so take with grain of salt.

Care to elaborate here?

You talking about his autistic sister?

I could elaborate but I won’t. Needless to say, I have no agenda because it’s not the info I would want to hear. Further, I got the impression it was an educated guess moreso than a proclamation with supreme confidence by said relative.

Don’t blame you for being skeptical and, at best, the info is anecdotal. It’s more than a “cousin” though.

Basically this was what was said:

“He/she said he likes Georgia coaches better but Bama players are friendlier. - He/she thinks it will be Bama.”

Gotcha.

If it does involve someone closely related to him, then he would be just as comfortable in Athens as Tuscaloosa.

His uncle owns a condo there.

Came from the Georgia side of the family. Like I said, think it’s a guess by said family member. Hope they are wrong.

More than anything, it just knocks me off my “Webb is a lock to Dawgs” which is where our fan base and I myself have been about him for awhile.

Saw reported earlier in week that Webb will inform coaches from both sides today and I am sure someone in media will get wind of it and maybe the CBs start pouring in again Sunday. Guess they will regardless.

Tim Watts typically does a prediction piece on big Alabama targets the day before/morning of their announcements so we'll see if he's heard anything either way pretty soon.

If nothing else this guy has really kept it close to the vest. Good luck to Clay wherever he decides to go. Can’t really make a bad decision with both teams.

Yeah, Clay’s a great kid. Both great programs - Webb will succeed at either school.

Some of the rumors filtering out of the visits so far this weekend do sound good for Georgia, but I wouldn't put the cart before the horse. That being said, I do agree, the Georgia coaches are relentless, and I hope all of their hard work pays off.

We will see if Dawgs can take Sanders and Dean off Bama's plate. Also in the process of stealing Darnell Wright from Tennessee.
