40 on UGA?

Over the next three years combined?

Maybe.

I heard Kirby wanted Evans but Morehead said no and wouldn't honor the sholarship offer. No idea the original source of it or what the basis was but that's just what I heard. Also heard that Kirby was extremely hot about it too. Maybe this was the case and they came to terms and the school is ready to take him now? Who knows.

Untrue. Dell is the one still in his corner and pushing for Evans; Kirby is the one that put on the brakes.

But at this point I don't really care where he ends up because this recruitment has been Legen...wait for it...dary. If we get him, I hope he balls out, if not then good luck young man.

She's old, she doesn't need it anymore, right?

It’s gonna be fun watching you guys crash and burn next year

Likewise. :doublebird:

Florida is my pick to win the East next year and a dark horse for the playoffs. I think LSU/Florida will be a huge game, but a rematch is also very possible in Atlanta.

Yeah, LSU/Florida will be a huge game, if determining which SEC team is the 3rd best team in the conference is huge to you, I guess.

Good joke.

Wait, you're serious?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

:rotflmao:

I'm so glad you're feeling so confident. Gonna be so nice when you're crying about 4 losses in a row to that "inferior" coach and "house of cards" at UGA next season.

While we could use another experienced TE on the roster, are you guys forgetting about Brett Seither? We currently have 4 TEs on the roster. And he's probably the best pass catching prospect of the bunch, other than possibly Washington.

From Jeff Sentell today:

quote:

Sedrick Van Pran-Granger: I would say that he is very much still committed to Georgia. Very.

Doesn't see himself slipping out of the class. Only has one official visit set up right now. That is Jan. 24 to Georgia.

Did I say "very" with that? Wanted to be sure you good people caught that.

Very.
No, what is telling is that our WR coach wasn't the lead recruiter on any of the four WRs we did sign.

He was the lead recruiter on Wren though 0.o

From our guy that has the direct line of communication with SVP:

quote:

not sure if anyone answered your question about SVPG. he loves CML. still loves UGA as a school in general. Likes that Kirby sees him as a leader of this team in the future. He may take some visits soon, but UGA will definitely get one of those. I like our chances.

His school doesn't allow early enrollees. As far as I know he's never said why he waited to sign, but that's always been his plan.

We'll see I guess. If true this is a new development within the last day or so. I could see how it might make sense in light of the Evans to UGA news considering his teammate Clayton was holding out hope for an outside shot at getting a committable UGA offer. But I dunno.

We have someone on another forum that is in regular contact with SVP himself and as recent as the last day or so all was still good with him and UGA. Losing Pittman was a blow, but he reportedly loves our new OL Coach Luke. So while everything in recruiting is fluid and this remains possible, until I hear otherwise from our guy that talks to SVP, I'm still comfortable where we sit.

Y’all take Ringo , we get Washington and call it a day?

Thanks for the kind offer, but I think we'll just stick with keeping both.
Caleb Williams has been trending to LSU over UGA for a while now.
He was never planning on signing during the Early Period in the first place, but thanks for the non-update.

Also, still a Dawg
I'm just wondering if UTk fans still feel like they stole Cheeseburger Chaney from UGA?

More likely just UGA and Bama
