Be basically finished with your class early (like Bama and UT last year) or wait it out til close to or on signing day?

Finished. You only have to focus on landing around 10 more prospects in like 10 months.

It all depends on the kids you are recruiting. Some want to wait, and others are itching to commit. Even Bama has to wait around on a kid, if he is elite, and that is what he wants to do.

Look at yesterday, SBB and Ridley have been itching to commit, and they committed early. It's not necessarily teams forcing these kids to commit early and wrapping up classes early.

I want to be finished with most, but have a couple of big time guys wait it out so I have something to give a crap about on NSD.

Probably would like to wait closer to signing day since they still have to play their senior season.

A couple of these kids, you can see the talent and you know what you have; Leo Lewis and Fitzpatrick and maybe Thompson. The other kids are good but you never know who is going to blossom as a senior so it's a crap shoot usually.

I like being close to finished, it allows the Bama coaching staff to focus in on the kids that the LSU staff feels won't qualify.

I would bet at least one of Bama's current commits doesn't sign.

A few early commits last year didn't sign, but that didn't take away from one of the best classes of the last decade.

Some of those early commits were mutual parting of ways IMO. Could happen this year as well. Strange thing is that we have three commitments who have already been committed for a year.

If I had to put money on it id say we don't keep Ledbetter. Who knows on the others?
