What happens to great programs? Their coaches get pouched by other school who want to know the magic sauce!
So while it is a bummer to loss Elko to Duke and Schmidt back to OU, it says a lot about what A&M is doing. Talk trash all you want. But this is the simple truth.
And Elko won't be that difficult to replace. E Robinson is the guy behind the brilliance at DL and recruting as a whole. He would be a MUCH bigger loss for A&M.

Perkins and Dewberry and Campbell and Stewart and Nolen and Smoke and Evan and like a million others are in B/CS right now. Looking good despite losing Elko!

Looks like the recruits don’t mind Elko being gone … all in CS as planned and signing Wednesday. Campbell even hauled arse from Bama to be there this weekend

With Harris now in the fold, A&M’s class is now at 325. If they get one of Perkins, Stewart, or Matthews, it’ll be the highest rated class ever.

What do you see wrong in my post? Just because you sign a top class does not translate to anything on the field. It may or may not end up being a great product but that is yet to be seen.

I'd rather we get at least 1-2 more transfers, specifically Taj Harris from Syracuse and another impact player.
