Louisiana is loaded at the WR position this cycle and LSU can't take them all. 6 of the top 10 players in the state are WRs according to 24/7.

LSU already has two WR commits in top 100 players Jojo Earle and Deion Smith (the #1 player in Mississippi )
LSU is looking to take 4, maybe 5, WRs this cycle with Brian Thomas Jr and Chris Hilton being their top targets for the two remaining WR spots.

Here are the prospects and their WR ranking according to the 24/7 composite. All of them have SEC offers.

Brian Thomas Jr. 4 Star #9 WR

Chris Hilton 4 Star #10 WR

Destyn Pazon 4 Star #19 WR

Malik Nabers 4 Star #47 WR

Keon Coleman 4 Star #48 WR

Tyrese Johnson 4 Star #57 WR

I don't know that UGA is in on any of them but that is a loaded group. LSU always has fertile receivers and DBs. I'm jealous.

Thomas and Hilton top priorities with Hilton announcing in about a month, but I think Nabers could sneak in as a ATH, he's a legit CB prospect too

State is hoping to grab Nabers and Coleman as well as a couple of 4* WR from Texas. The Leach effect is helping WR recruiting for sure

From what I have heard,Thomas is the best of the bunch. Similar to AJ green in ways. Hilton also seems elite. Really hope bama can at least get one but hopes aren't too high. i think we do have a better shot at Thomas though.

Not A&M. We're looking at a couple in FL and already have one of, if not the top guy in Texas.

Coleman probably who we have the biggest shot with, him or Nabors. Mississippi is WR heavy too this year and most are under the radar.

Pazon is pretty heavily favored to FSU isn't he?

Yeah Pazon will end up at FSU by most accounts unless someone else really pushes for him, havent heard anything but FSU for him for the last few months.

I would not be shocked to see Kiffen land one either.

Leach will get the leftovers. Still good players but not the cream.

Leach may get one, but if he can get the two from Texas and the rest from MS, e.g. Kanarius Johnson and Jacobi Moore it's a great haul. We might can flip MJ Daniels as well.

UGA benefited last cycle from LSU with Jermaine Burton - thank you very much.

Don’t know that Dawgs will be much of a factor this cycle as we are almost certainly grabbing Deion Colzie who actually lives in Athens, GA. May only take one more WR since they took 4 last cycle.

Obviously would love to get one of those top two guys but doubt we can pull either out of Louisiana. Always a difficult pull.
