Yet after 8 straight #1 classes little ole LSU still has more players in the NFL than Alabama, not sure how that's possible with all these huge bumps and #1 classes Alabama is reeling in...

The same way with all that NFL talent LSU hasn't won the West since 2011?
College talent and NFL talent are two different things. If they weren't Ryan Leaf would be in the HOF.
Not a dig at LSU. Just for some reason LSU fans seem to think the NFL translates, and it does not. Sometimes great college players cannot make it in the NFL, and some NFL greats were middling college players.

Times change. The Alabama dynasty is over. Auburn dominating ya'll 2 weeks ago was the signal that its over. Clemson or Georgia doing the same in a few weeks will be the final death nail.

Okay look at the difference in Bama’s play from ‘07 to ‘08 and beyond. Also look at the parallel with their recruiting uptick. Then look at the fact Kirby came on as the DC at the end of ‘07 beginning of ‘08. Now compare that with his time at Georgia. Is it shear coincidence......

Will Bama's inability to recruit without Kirby be slowly exposed year by year? If that happens will you try to replace Saban? ...

Been arguing the Bama drop off this season.

Saban is a great coach when he is fed a consistent supply of 4/5stars. What happens when that dries up? I don't know, but its going to be fun to watch either way. I think we'll look back at this season and see a chink in the armor starting with their depth at LB.

I think it had more to do with not getting skill players in trenches. But the skill players we chased stars which they were good enough for nfl but again neglected other areas. IMO
Hopefully that changes with new staff... TBT

Bama will be fine. I would bet my house that they’ll get a top ten class and are probably going to be in the top five.

They top 10 now. Pretty much guaranteed they will be top 5. It depends on how rival schools do against their remaining targets. I believe the only recruit they are going head to head with the Dawgs is Cox.
