That literally makes no sense what you said at all. Sounds like Lane just wants to go get players who want to grab a bag and don’t feel like competing for spots at there old school either. They come to Ole Miss because they see an easy pathway. Recruiting players scared of competition? Have you seen the talent he’s been bringing in for this class and next? Brian Kelly also believes in the talent he already has on campus unlike your coach apparently. We are already over the roster limit and the more we bring in….That means another guy has to go out the door. Brian Kelly isnt gonna do that. He’s happy with what he has and the coaches he has to develop them.

There is a difference in styles that Brian and Lane are taking this offseason. We’ve only taken five transfers this class. All the rest are high school players. Very Louisiana heavy as well.

You’re acting like all things are equal. If you can’t spot the differences between Ole Miss and LSU’s recruiting situation, I can’t help you. Kelly has underachieved if he’s done anything.

If Kelly wanted to get in on some of those players, he could have. He chose not to. Yes there is a difference. Underachieving my arse. He had two great high school recruiting classes as well the last two seasons that blew Lane’s out of the water. Those guys guess what are still around, and have been developing under these coaches. You guys act like they don’t exist for us. We didn’t need the portal as much as you. He has the #7 class for this year and we’re not done. And he has the # 1 class for next year at this point…. Have fun with your one hit wonders…..BK is actually building for the future and not just 2024

That’s fine. Sounds like he prefers the simple and easy life.

He’s fine with having a historically bad defense. That’s integrity

No, he’s not happy with the D. He knows there’s talent there, and his coaches were shite so then he went out and hired an elite staff to replace them. Filled with elite recruiters too, the amount of talent that is going to be flowing in for our defense is going to be insane.

No shite, smart guy. That’s my point. Building LSU’s roster at the high-school level is much easier than attempting to do the same at Ole Miss. All things are not equal.

Would you say that he prefers a much larger D?

Same coaches "developing" your hs recruited talent? Doesn't bode well

I don't see what the issue is with Lane maximizing the portal. All players understand they need to come in and compete to win the starting job.

Just look at the QB room. You don't see any of them running scared and we are bringing in good HS Qbs.

They brought in a new DC. That's very disrespectful to the other defensive assistants for Kelly to go out and bring someone else in while they've been busting their asses trying to develop into better positions.

Shame on Kelly

Neither of these two were competing for their spots at Washington ? The majority of Ole Miss portal transfers in this class were sitting starters at their respective schools.

I can't tell if this is a really dumb post or if you're trying to troll the recruiting board. Either way, it's probably in your best interest to not watch what Ole Miss is doing for a bit.

Kind of starting to feel bad for all the OM players hoping to develop and start there…they just get the middle finger from Lane and he just tries to find the next best thing…

OM is bound to have the most Dlinemen projected for next season's roster at the moment.
