Kinda. It's not like your offense was dominant. But I do agree that there were a lot of moments that if they went the other way, could have changed the outcome of the game. If Franks doesn't miss a WIDE open Jefferson to start the game, y'all have all the momentum.

It was a close game for 45 or so minutes, but thankfully our depth won out. I believe we're in better shape going forward, but that doesn't mean that y'all can't beat us.

Mullen >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Smart

I can’t stress enough how much better Mullen is than Smart at actually coaching football. Smart would be a 7-5 coach if he wasn’t smack dab in the middle of the most talent rich state during one of that state’s richest talent periods in history with no real recruiting competition

Going through your posting history I feel better about Kirby now.

Please go look at Mullen’s offenses against Kirby’s defenses head to head and let me know if you change your mind.

Mullen is so over-hyped on this board. You can say what you will about Kirby but he took an underachieving brand and got it back to national prominence in two years. Will Mullen do that? Maybe 2018 was a down payment but will need to see a lot more. For all of Mullen's "guru" persona, he will eventually have to win something. While Dawgs have fallen short of the ULTIMATE goal, in three years under Kirby we are SEC Champs, CFP Finalist/Natty Runner-up. Let's see what Mullen achieves in first three years.

This is true.

But it’s also true that Mullen won a New Years 6 bowl game in year 1 at Florida and led us to a top 6 ranking. And Florida won 4 games the year before he got here.

That’s a pretty damn good start. I think Florida and Georgia fans can both say they’re confident in the coach leading their programs right now, which is better than both could say in the recent past. Our dick measuring contest over who is better won’t be settled, because both fanbases will obviously like their guy better. It’s going to get old this offseason, but it’s fun that game is going to have major national implications going forward. I predict more college gameday appearances in Jacksonville in the years to come.

Gators are keeping pace with UGA (not closing the gap... but UGA is recruiting second only to Bama right now. Keeping pace is hard to do).

You have to compare the 2015 class to the 2019 class. Both UGA and UF have greatly improved the high 4 and 5 star talents.

Tennessee on the other hand... they had a great class in 2015. Better than their 2019. Believe it or not, UGA is widening the gap by a large margin.

2015 was not a good class. We thought so at the time but hindsight shows it’s acrually pretty awful. Over half of them washed out. Most of the rest were injured Or busts.

The class we pulled in this year has much more potential than the 2015 class and they aren’t being coached by a goober.

You had the #6 class in the country and it was loaded with a lot of high 4 star talent.

What you did with that class is another story. But the class brought talent in.
