I feel bad for that young man, but he handled it well. Props to you Jacob.

Me too. Did you feel bad for Landon Collins when his mom showed her arse on TV, too? Or was that different

Lol, one of those twitter comments:
UF destroys families, shame.

And people say Mullen is a lazy recruiter. He pulled Copeland all the way from Pensacola, CA!

This thread isn't about my feelings on Collins. But, since you asked, although I know you're just being an a-hole because he committed to y'all, yes, I felt bad for him. I don't think any parent should take away from these kids biggest day of their life's up to this point.
Have a great day, buddy.

That is terrible, that is even worse than Landon Collins mom

Wow. That's terrible. I honestly feel really sad for this kid. Lord knows that I would want my kids to go to UGA if they had the chance for any athletic scholarships, but they have to do what they feel is best for them and their future. If one of my kids wants to be an engineer, I'm not going to fault him/her for going to Georgia Tech.
This is just shameful.

Feel really badly for the kid. That is probably the biggest moment of his life to date and she ruined it that sucks.

It's a catch 22 because while I think the kid should chose where he wants to go I couldn't imagine going against my parents wishes when they got me there. Then again I can't understand a parent being upset the kid chose a different school their kid is getting a free education

Why is Whoopi Goldberg upset that he's going to UF?

I feel for the guy. They guy standing behind him (dad/brother/cousin) had the decency to walk around, sit beside him for the biggest day of his life and put his arm around him for support because his mother acted like a bitch.

Wonder if she'll walk out and turn down the new house he'll buy her when he goes Pro in a few years?

Reports that she wanted him to stay out of Florida due ot gang affiliations. Wore Bama and UT stuff because she wanted him to pick anywhere other than UF

It's a representation of humility. Mom wanted Bama but can't handle the pick because Bama just never loses.
On the other hand, the UT fan dad/cousin/bro is there for him because he's been disappointed for years and is empathetic towards Jacob.
Makes sense right?

This sounds like some butthurt Vol bullshite. Never once heard this from the Florida side, and god knows we've been in on some rough characters over the years.
