They were a thing when I was a child. The registries just make things more convenient than printing out a sheet of paper to hand to everyone.

They already get paid a decent salary for only working 9 months out of the year

School teachers are notoriously underpaid.

Invest in your kids' education you cheapass.

He wanted to team up with AD, but now he's got a more broken version of AD in Embiid. Will be comical from afar

That matters not. As of last year, this team is officially Tyrese Maxey's.
Listening to Crump is absolutely painful. Dude cannot talk for shite. They didn't have a medical professional on hand to be able to accurately convey the findings?

Maryland State Police troopers on-site informed Grevelding they could not take the suspect into custody because they did not physically witness the misdemeanor take place.

How TF is this only a misdemeanor?
Also, I could be wrong, but as someone else said, if the Dad was to deservingly beat the man's arse, I'm sure they would have arrested him, even if they didn't see it. So, what's the difference? They can identify multiple witnesses, and they could see(and smell for that matter) evidence that said act did occur

had she shot him when she found him under the bed, should could have a better defense.

accept a plea on a lesser offense, like man slaughter, or go with "crime of passion/heat of the moment" an hope a jury will go along

My thoughts exactly.

Speculating here. But I wonder if he instigated anything as he was walking away. For example, if he said something like "don't worry I'll be back, your daughter can't get enough of me". Or just anything vulgar about the child in general. I'm no expert, but I would think a good lawyer could definitely get her off in that situation.

A Tennessee mother shot and killed a man she found hiding under her 13-year-old daughter’s bed, according to cops — and now she’s facing first-degree murder charges.

Kendra Scott was arrested after police found a 20-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound in the back of his head outside her Memphis home just before 2 a.m. Thursday, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Post.

The 36-year-old mother told officers she came home and “saw a dude under my kids’ bed.”

“And I did what I had to do,” she said, per the affidavit.

The deadly incident unfolded after Scott’s teen daughter told cops she invited the man, Rodderius Morton, to the family’s home at around 1 a.m., according to the court document and Scott’s lawyer.

This story is interesting in that I'm sure a lot of parents would want to do the exact same thing in her situation. I don't feel any sympathy for the dead predator. But seeing as how the mom shot him in the back of the head, outside of the home. She is definitely going down for murder.

Why is that?
Are you under the assumption that a very similar, if not higher percentage of men in that same age bracket also have tattoos?

Why of course. One season is more than enough time to say whether or not someone is a bust.

Does anyone believe that Thor means that this next threat is bigger than Thanos and literally everything he’s ever fought? Sorry, I’m not buying the pitch.

Seeing as the trailer shows Doom easily block Thor's Stormbreaker attack with 1 hand? Yea, I'm buying that.
Hell yea. Take my money already.
If you look at it from a US centric point of view, Jordan gets the nod. If you look at it from a worldwide point of view, Messi's fame blows Jordan out of the water.

There may be better ways to measure, but if we go by IG followers. It's undeniable that the 2 most popular current NBA players are Steph Curry and LeBron James. Here's what the numbers say

Steph: 57 million
Lebron: 154m
Messi: 514m
Are you expecting people to go to the grocery store dressed up?
That's very interesting. I didn't even know it would be possible to get Gps data from the boat.
Their countries are poor, but some of the people are not poor.

Also, I think there's a lot of World Cup fans who already lived in the US, but they still repped other various countries because that's their heritage.
I haven't followed closely along. But how in the world did they end up at Jordan Hare. There couldn't have been a World Cup game there could it?

Edit: I'm dumb. That's Clemson's stadium, not Auburn.

Understatement of the century
My nieces, whom absolutely loved the original movie. Those girls probably forced me to sit through that movie endlessly when they were younger.
I asked if they wanted to see the new live action one. Nope, they said it looks weird and that the Rock looks scary in it.

Looks like they failed to get their actual targeted audience excited for it.

You've asked me this already, and I've already answered.
