Any luxury dealers in Louisiana who can help us compete w that?

Best LSU can do is have Gordon McKernan let players ride shotgun in his Ferrari

Reminds me of the movie “Skulls.”

I suppose at 18 I would find this cool. Texas has money and that is great, but what LSU sells kids on is a future payday that is exponentially larger. The problem is getting the recruits to see the forest through the trees. I've got P&G glasses, so my opinion is only worth so much.

Yeah these kids are 18, they are going for the lambos. It’s time to get the strippers going

Pay to Play. Period. Total free agency with NO limits.

Bahaha there is absolutely no shame or subtlety there.
What a superficial pitch.

Nothing wrong with your opinion and im sure from our p&g glasses perspective your opinion holds some truth. That said, every program in the country touts their "opportunities after football" and it's always what makes their network unique and special. Let me tell you, at the end of the day, those networks are all made up of the same types of people, money, places, things and opportunities. Some just have more or come with differing cultural advantages. For all their ills and despite the fact that they've been instrumental in the absolute wrecking of the basic moral, political and social philosophies this great country was built upon, universities are systems of "higher education" and tend to push out Ceos, business owners and leaders of the nation in just about any direction you want your life to go in. And they network across state lines and internationally so you can even choose where you live. So while the future after football at ____ university sounds good in the moment, in the end it doesn't matter which you choose, if taken advantage of properly, any school you pick will have opportunities for you to thrive after football. Only fans think their schools alumni base is more special than another's. The only tangible difference is the logo on their polo shirt or cap.

That is just a bad look and says everything about Texas sports programs. You can have all the players who priortize lambos over anything else.
That is a short minded sales pitch. And something that will completely back fire.
Believe me, we know. Jimbo had the same recruiting attitude. 30% of the players were total money hungry, non motivated, I am better than anyone else recruits....

Country club school. When stuff gets real recruits will make another business decision.

Like what BK was doing earlier in his LSU years of grinding with the recruits.

That's simply untrue. The size of the alumni base, and its wealth, are tangible differences. A Texas recruit who goes to A&M or Texas will have exponentially more opportunities than one who goes to Auburn or LSU --- and better opportunities, too.

Very well stated. And 100% Correct!

How many of these kids will get one of these cars? If not all or at least 40-50 of them, it’s going to cause issues on a team. Also, none of these kids know how to handle a car like that. My theory, short term success, long term disaster
