Would he? I don’t know how good or bad Scooby was, but Pup often had trouble shedding blockers and filling the gaps.
Of course, he can develop and lord knows he wasn’t getting the best coaching at SC, but his performances this season didn’t particularly match the hype he had out of high school.

A definite sign that he’s not coming
Hal will use billy whiffing on pup (probably because we don’t have a lb coach) as an excuse to shame the fans for not giving money to the collectives

maybe...in a few years, but he had 7 tackles and played rather poorly.
I wanted to keep him, don't get me wrong, but his freshman year was not fantastic

Pup, as a true freshman, had a PFF grade of 70.
Scooby, in his 3rd season, had a PFF grade of 40.
I'm taking Pup every day

honestly if both parties are happy then we are good.
We lost Stone and Pup and picked up two better LB's in the portal.
I am glad he graded okay, but he definitely had a lot of flaws here

Pup was weird. Talked all about how he loved the program, loved the school. Then he leaves foe Christmas break, and decides to transfer out. Good for him, I guess, but he was set to get major minutes this fall.
