Good one. Would you like in on this action?

Think this one thru...there is no reason to think this kid won't be signing his LOI in 2015...this guy has the screen name "Mullen". He wants a ban bet that is fulfilled in two years knowing full well he'll have changed his screen name by that point with Mullen being ran off after the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Pretty confident he is already working on his alter...

Not to mention it makes absolutely no sense for more than one person to take a ban bet.

It does when you actually want to back your shite talk up with something. I won't blame Bucc for not taking it though, I'm pretty sure he ran away from this board when he got his feelings hurt last summer.

Aren't you a frickin alter anyway... Not like you have anything to lose here... Maybe your trolling privileges ?

Town, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound junior, took an analytical approach to making his big decision. His father said Town poured over spreadsheets filled with data about his favorite schools, their offenses and their academics.
"This wasn't on a whim," Rick Town said. "It's been in the works for a while. Ricky doesn't like leading people on. He wanted the other teams to know what his intentions were early so they could do what they have to do."
So Town called Alabama's Doug Nussmeier on Monday morning. After a few minutes of small talk, the offensive coordinator figured out what was happening.
"It was so funny. I touched base with Coach Nuss and said, 'Hey, what's up man?'" Rick Town said. "I talked to him for a little bit, and eventually he said, 'Wait, is he committing here?' I said I'd let Ricky tell him that. And he said, 'Wow. I'm fired up. This is amazing.'"
Town had eight other offers to consider, and his father knows plenty more will likely come in the next two years. But he's done with recruiting and will get to work to enroll early at Alabama.
"He's not the kind of guy who wants more offers. It doesn't mean anything to him now," Town said. "The schools he really wanted to look at all looked at him. There was nothing for him to gain by hanging on and waiting."
Town becomes the fifth member of Alabama's 2015 class, and all five are in the ESPN Junior 300.
How does a California quarterback end up spurning offers from USC, UCLA and Stanford? Rick Town knows he'll get lots of questions about that in the coming months. But Alabama made too much sense.
"People are going to be surprised a kid from California would go to the SEC and get out of California," Town said. "But it really fits Ricky's personality. He's more of a Southern-type person. He's all business. This is a really good fit."
He's a Gump.

But he was just at Stanford's junior day last week.

I hate you.
I feel you dude is an idiot.
I don't even get why he is angry/bitter that Town is all Bama. I don't even think Town got interest from his team.

Rosen isn't leaving the west coast. He'll end up at Cal or maybe stanford if they decide to offer now that Town's off the board

How's that Sills offer working out for you?
21st ranked Pro-style QB in the 2015 class. Kiffen = Genius.

no biggie, we just signed Brown and we'll likely sign Tyler Hilinski to go along with Sills. Kiffen is a no doubt a freaking idiot but we'll be fine at the quarterback position. congrats on Town thou, kid is an absolute stud.

I'm just giving you shite breh. Kiffen needs to stop with ssensationalist shite and work within the high school ranks. Did he honestly think offering a 7th grade QB was gonna work out?
Posted on 8/5/13 at 11:13 pm to TideSaint
I have no idea what goes thru that idiots mind. Sills father isn't doing the kids any favors either. He should transfer somewhere where he can get some reps in and hopefully develop.

I've conversed with one of the coaches at St. Bonny's (Town's H.S.) and he's the real deal. I think most recruitniks will tell you that Rosen is the prize QB from the WC for 2015, but Town is no slouch. The system at Bama isn't much different than his H.S. offense so he'll take to it very well, IMHO. Congrats RollTiders.
