I wasn't comparing Bama to AU, he would play a vastly different role and is still one of the best defensive signees either team gets, especially at AU

You could even argue he's the best LB prospect AU has signed in a pretty long time regardless of 4 or 5*'s

Bama and LSU has lost more than Auburn has. What are you referring to?

If is so worried about just a ring, right now Auburn is in better position to get him to a NC than Bama

What's funny about that? With this defensive class, and Gus running the offense, Auburn will be right there every year.

AU does great historically as a favorite.

I guess the stars are lining up again.

They are already back to their greatest players and team ever beliefs again. You would think they would wait a little while after the OU beat down before they start that again. Especially after all they are losing and their "it happened before so it will happen again" theories getting proven wrong multiple times this year.

FWIW, on the Rashaan front, 2 of Scouts writers changed their predictions from Bama to Auburn.

How many have multiple NC's and a SB ring? Bama has a LB that fits that.
Josh Bynes won a National Championship and Super Bowl (not multiple, but still a selling point).

Yea, I know... I am still not sure what happened. I never received any reasoning and neither did Nino. Either way, I just wanted to set the record straight. He did play there in high-school, but I know you already knew that.

FWIW, I actually wouldn't mind the move to safety for him. We are replacing Ryan Smith and Ryan White, and I think Josh Holsey is better suited for cornerback.

I went from him picking Auburn to having no clue where he is going after the stuff the last few days. I think he could just as likely just be building suspense for his announcement as he could be trying to show hints about where he is going.

I haven't seen many Bama fans or experts picking him to Bama.

Have you seen the Auburn recruiting thread or AUF lately? They all convinced themselves Evans is gone to Bama despite everybody else thinking the opposite. It's been quite hilarious.

I don't exactly know what caused all the "He's a Bama lock" melt today.

Everything was greatly in Auburn's favor after the OV. Came out saying he knew where he was going and was basically down to 2. Then cancelled his UCLA visit.

Then a few days ago Saban has his IH and then its said Smart will be at the party Gus was supposed to be at for his IH.

Then his Dad says he may announce early (Monday) because the pressure if he picks Bama.

Then it is announced the announcement will be NSD and will be open to only Family and media.

It was then said that Foster came and hung out with Evans for the whole party.

Hoke I believe said its closer than people think and AUF went nuts.

Someone sent the post to RE and he retweeted them.

I guess it was just a combination of little things like the Dad's Bama comment's, the closed to the public announcement, it seeming like the Evans were letting the Bama coaches intrude on Gus's IH, and Foster supposedly hanging out with RE at the party all in a short period of time. Then the retweets of the negative posts by Rashaan pushed a few more over the edge. But no expert changed their prediction from Auburn and it came out that after the party RE hung out with 2 Auburn commits for 2 hours.
