Alabama is LinebackerU. no school can match our history of putting big time LBs in the NFL. Derrick Thomas and Lee Roy Jordan were two of the best to ever play the position. and it's misleading to say that saban has only had one JLB drafted because Upshaw had that role for most of Saban's tenure. Also, Donta Hightower played some JLB for bama at times.

I think that if he were to come to bama (though i doubt it), RE would be better suited at the Sam Linebacker spot than the JLB, at least until he adds a lot of weight.

Meh. Bama has a long history much earlier than Saban's tenure, of LBs, guys like Derrick Thomas, Lee Roy Selman, Cornelius Bennett, Woodrow Lowe, Barry Krauss, Rich Wingo, EJ Junior, Emanuel King, George Bethune, Antonio London, Dwayne Rudd, Kieth McCants, DeMeco Ryans, Jarrett Johnson,

One of these is not like the others.

2 if you consider JJ played DE and DT at Bama

Lemanski Hall played almost 10 years in the NFL.

Let's not sit here and pretend every LB that lines up on 'bama's defense under Saban gets drafted.

I can pretend whatever I want.
