I don't know Mullen's reasoning -- but he literally never wanted Corral and I vocally blasted him for it. I just hope Mullen has another plan for neglecting the best player of our class (thus far).

reading that little write up in that link, it appears that Mullins and the OC tried to save this commit with an in home visit to Corral. This flip makes no sense to me but good get by Ole Miss.

Think this is a situation where he probably felt a little unwanted since Mullen didn’t make him much of a priority when he was hired and our staff busted their arse to show him he was our number 1 priority. At the end of the day, if he didn’t fit mullen’s Offense, you can’t really blame Mullen for backing off a bit and you can’t blame the kid for looking elsewhere. He can redshirt for a year at ole miss and then have 4 years to start. I’m shocked we got him, but this might be the biggest recruit we’ve had in a long time. Obviously he’s not the recruit Shea or nkemdiche were, but this can help stop the whole dumpster fire label. If we don’t lose any other players off the roster, Matt Luke deserves some credit.

He doesn't. I'll tell you that right now from prior experience. If the player is high-profile Mullen will want no part of him. He wants to be the ONLY reason a QB turns out good.
