Mullen got some good OTJ training working with Meyer back in the day. Meyer was one of the first head coaches - not assistants, but head coaches - to do this stuff and be "friends" with recruits. Head Coaches today like Harbaugh, Mullen, etc. took their lead from him....

Kaiir Elam may or may not go to Florida, UGA will kick Florida's teeth in next fall regardless, and Florida fans will still talk shite about the coach that keeps kicking their arse.

Kirby lost to UF in his first year too. He’ll lose to the better coach in Jacksonville in November. In the meantime, Mullen’s about to beat out UGA for an elite recruit. Elam is a Gator. No doubt, no “may or may not”, it’s over.
I’ll be sure to write Kirby to thank him for the assistance on us upgrading CB coaches.
