MSU fans shouldn't be calling anyone angry with their obsession about an ex-coach who went to a better University. Mind holding my cuck?

Pretty sure Florida won their last title with Saban at Bama.

Mullen at UF can beat Saban. Not consistently, but on a good year.

He runs a system Saban hates, and at UF, he can get the players that will be good enough to give Bama a massive headache just like Oklahoma, Clemson, and Auburn.

Meyer/Mullen system with elite talent has gone 3-3 vs Saban. Obviously Mullen didn't have that at MIss State..because it's the Vandy of the West.

Add in Saban can't be there to much longer. Smart at Georgia is Florida's main obstacle the next ten years. Though we know Smart also struggles defensively vs good spread teams like Auburn(when RB is healthy) and Oklahoma defensively. So we can be a big thorn in his neck as well. He will out recruit us for sure though. Guy is a monster recruiter.

Dude, miss st isnt even a bunch of has-beens, they never were. Don't even argue with them. They beat LSU 2 times in like 20 years and think theyve arrived. I assure you they try to sell recruits on that too. They're sad and always will be sad...they're state.

Very true.

Also side note. Mcdowell committed. So can change the thread title.

Let's also mention in the last ten days by my count from 24/7 on Mullen's visits.

He has been to over 30 high schools. Done six in home visits. Showed up to multiple high schools and IMG in a helicopter. Signed Mcdowell. Got one of FSU's best favored leans to cancel his FSU visit.

He is putting in serious work for a lazy guy. Maybe he just didn't have the resources at Miss State? Seems like he has no issue traveling for UF. Can't afford Helicopter's Bulldogs?

“Mississippi State is a sad program....so sad I decided to come and post at 2:00am and say how sad of a program State is. Trust me, I’m not still rustled about 37-7.”

You are dumb, but you must realize coaches do that everywhere, right?? It doesn't mean Mullen likes to recruit. A lot of coaches like to ride around in helicopters and impress hs kids.

He rode around in helicopters all the time at state. Doesn’t make him a good recruiter. Here’s how he recruits. If he expects the kid to sign with his school that’s it. He’s done recruiting them for the most part. He won’t put the extra effort in to seal the deal because he just assumes it’s in the bag. It will cost you some recruits in the future and you’ll be eft scratching your head I guarantee you.

Oh really.

Because like I literally just said. Lamar was a 90 percent CB to FSU, he took him and now the kid isn't even visiting FSU.

He stole Jones from Ohio State and FSU

Maybe..just maybe...Miss State CAN'T steal from Bama or Ohio State? Why waste energy on shite that won't happen. MSU has zero selling points above the other SEC programs but play time or style of play. That's it. Literally nothing else.

Ms St offered him and wanted him badly.

You make other state fans (and I like state fans) look bad

UF should worry about kicking Miami out of Central Florida recruiting ground before anything.

Saban/Smart have owned Dan Mullen. Smart specifically at UGA has owned running QBs. And Mullens offense is nothing like Oklahoma or Auburn lol. Do you think theyre the same because they run a lot of shotgun? Our defense was pretty good this year and it started minimal smart recruits. Our entire secondary were Pruitt recruits, low star but diamond in the rough guy. Obviously Richt left him R Smith, Carter, and Bellamy so that helped. I'm looking forward to us recruiting high caliber players in the defensive backfield, and both lines of scrimmage again.

I mean, imagine if Smart was at Vanderbilt and Mullen was at Florida. That's essentially what was happening except Mullen recruited a bit better than Vanderbilt.

It's not apples to apples when Kirby inherits a team with the best rushing duo of all time and an all-star upperclassmen laden defense while Mullen is stuck in the sticks of Mississippi playing against LSU, Alabama, Auburn (you know, title holders, well, maybe you don't know).

Well his offense won us two national championships and the moment he left our entire program collapsed, so...maybe with star power and great talent his offense can put up impressive numbers. He's coaching with one hand tied behind his back at State.

Alabama had a huge advantage on Mullen before he even stepped foot on campus. It's much easier to recruit someone to Tuscaloosa than it is to Starkvegas. We shall see in a few years, but his offense actually having playmakers outside of Coal to Diamond quarterbacks should at least give rival fanbases pause.

To be fair, when he was the coach at msu y'all talked about him being the oc at UF and winning those championships all the time. Whatever fits the narrative...

And the moment he left our offense went in complete disarray.

2017: 116th
2016: 116th
2015: 112th
2014: 96th
2013: 115th
2012: 104th
2011: 105th
2010: 83rd
2009: 6th
2008: 15th (Mullen Leaves)
2007: 3rd
2006: 24th

You can see that 2009 is 6th whereas 2008 is 15th -- however, the scoring differential was extremely different in SEC/Big games.

The 2008 points for was at 611, with a first place SRS and fourth in total points scored.

In 2009, points for dropped to 502 and our SRS was 21st and our points for dropped to 10th.

In 2010 PF dropped to 388, 44th in the country and obviously for the last 8 years our offense has steadily declined.

Mullen (as much as MSU fans would hate to admit) was the reason we won national championships, we did it with his offenses and really the biggest difference is his creativity -- something MSU fans will say doesn't exist, but they just don't realize that guys like Percy Harvin aren't going to MSU ever unless something radical happens.
