Sounds like hes going to be reclassifying this week and enrolling in the summer. Looks like an A&M/Georgia race at this point but id assume other schools will get more involved when he makes it official that hes reclassifying

Right. He just hasnt come out and officially announced it so I didnt know how else to describe it as of right now

Couple of guys on another Dawg board are plugged in pretty good here. LT is definitely graduating early; he walked with the seniors at the last home basketball game.
We're hearing that he's likely dropping a Top 5 or so soon and committing/enrolling in August. Truth be told, he's looking at a redshirt year; he needs some more physical development.
Fun note- he allegedly showed up to school today in aTm gear from head to toe. The purported NIL offer from the Aggies is 4 years/$2.5 million.

These figures are so random and all over the map.
The OU guy speculates with zero basis that we utilized NIL deals of $30 Million to sign around 28 recruits . . .that would be roughly $1 Million per head.
LSU folks are saying with zero basis that Perkins balked at our offer of $500K over 4 years as he wanted it all up front.
Now we more that doubling the best previous random, unsubstantiated guestimate to give this kid $2.5 Million.

So when he doesn't sign with A&M - you'll know whoever signs him gave him more than this. It's all about the bag with him. At least that is what yall keep telling me.

You can keep going all you want. Random internet posters posting random shite happens all the time about a kid they don't know. But saying "LSU folks" like some LSU writer said it just isn't simply true.

They're all Lsu fans and they keep repeating the same thing over and over. Its been the talking point with Perkins the entire time. I never said it was any particular writer.
Regardless, we can get back to Overton. He's going to take OVs before he does anything I would assume.

Well the Lane Train said publicly that A$M's recruiting class would be subject to a "Luxury Tax" using an NFL analogy to what happens to teams if they blow the NFL Salary Cap numbers. I don't think he came up with that our of thin air. My guess, he recruited some of the same players AGGIE$$ were recruiting, LSU, OU, Texas, etc in the state of Texas and got that information from accurate sources.

There are reports elsewhere saying he isn't reclassifying.
