Volnation isn't a good source either, FWIW.

Then there's the Alabama fan that started the thread on Blue Board of 247 with no link saying he's decommitted. That's not credible. He doesn't even have 1,000 posts.

I know RF is taking OVs and I know in the spring he had a lot of great things to say about Washington and was planning on taking an OV while still committed to UA. I know is really likes Tosh Lupoi. Any concern with UW.

Also is it true about Blakely and Florence?

Only concern would be LSU or Georgia. Have no clue on Florence, really don't care on Blakely. The staff are doing both wrong. I would sincerely hope Florence hasn't quit the team.

I don't think he's decommitted yet. I saw him at the USCe game at LSU. Didn't look that into it, but the play of Minter lately has to be getting him thinking since he could very well start at MLB next year for LSU as we have only a true Freshman behind Minter.

If he goes through with his OV for the Bama game and its impressive enough maybe.

But what do you think happens if the staff at Auburn is not retained?

If he decommit and came to UGA, he would play every snap of every game on defense.

I'd say we're fricked next year after most all our ILB's leave, but they've been average on their good days this year

This is what I was referring to earlier. not sure how good SG's source is.

Brian @BSBHVR2
According to a source of Scott Griffin's, Enrique Florence and Mike Blakely have quit the Auburn football team.

A little smoke with RF and LSU. He will be back for his official in two weeks.

He isn't coming here. If he actually signs anywhere besides auburn it will be with UGA.

Kevin Minter can help change that decision real quick (hey man, I'm going to the NFL, you can start as a freshman in my place).

Exactly what the hell happened between RF and Bama? Did we piss in his cereal or something? It seems highly unlikely for him to decommit from AU after the tattoo and all.

He moved to Auburn, Alabama. The community obviously pressured him into going to Auburn. I think we could still land him if Saban will take him back.

Last year in the Ga state Champ game for his classification or whatever he was popped on the knee pretty bad injury

Long story short.....he shredded it, Kirby was concerned and suggested that he get it at least looked at, he however was more worried about his ranking etc, so he ignored our coaches until it got so bad it constantly stays enflamed etc now and gives him little to no lateral movement, the final straw leading to his decommitment was a personal convo with he and Coach Saban and Saban expressed his interest in Rueben to stop going on every visit and telling other staffs he wasn't fully committed to Bama etc, RF didn't like this to put it lightly and decommitted later in the week

And yes he did decommit from AU, not sure if he will commit to LSU soon or not, really don't care anymore, but it looks really good for LSU, and don't count out UW seriously

This had a lot to do with it as well and the above convo with Saban was the final straw for both parties, but I believe it was a test by Saban, he knew what would happen I think

Staff didn't treat him like a serious commitment when his late night switcheroo happened from Oxford HS (a LOT better coaching) to AuHS

I'll be interested to see if UGA gets back into it. We'll see I guess
