The best way to process a player is don't play them and make it clear you won't play them. Many will get the hint and leave.

I didn't just bring that up because you are an Alabama fan, but because the thought of them going to prison coincides with Harvey Updyke (to me). Both things happened within the same year, and both deserve to spend some time in prison. It'd just be crazy to see the 4 of them, and Harvey, end up in the same cell...

Not really. 1 poisoned a tree that Au fans loved. 4 robbed Au fans. I doubt they could give a shite about Harvey's allegiances.
