What he said.

I wouldn't touch the PR shite storm that would follow with this. Not only would this be the second discipline problem dismissed from UGA that you'll have taken, but it would also look pretty bad in light of all the resent domestic violence stuff going on.

God forbid he gets in trouble again

Something else to consider...

He was actually ranked 1 spot higher than Todd Gurley when he came in, but of the top 5 guys that came in that year, he's the one guy that has minimal PT. All the potential in the world, but has bust written all over him. Granted, he redshirted one of those years, but for the year he didn't redshirt, he only had rotational and garbage duty.

Its questionable whether or not he will "fix" any problems LSU has on the DL.

There's a higher likelihood he'll cause more problems.

Come on yall.... it's Lousisiana.... telling me yall can't go pick up a couple three or four quality defensive linemen in the next class?

Auburn and Louisville are both recruiting him as well. He has an offer from Louisville but not one from Auburn, yet. He'll be in Auburn this weekend for the game.

Gus Malzahn was apparently asked about domestic violence issues in his press conference today and whether he would recruit players with such a past history. He said he had zero tolerance on the issue and would not recruit such players. I suspect these questions were raised because of Jonathan Taylor

Sounds like the voices of opposition got a little loud so Gus is cutting the cord.

Taylor probably should have stayed away from the media if he wants to get recruited by a major school. The worst thing he can do is draw attention to his recruitment with domestic violence being in the national spotlight right now.

Well, now I'm curious to see if he recruits him or not.

Hope this is true. I don't want to be recruiting players with a history of domestic violence, of all things. I don't care if Garner thinks he can rehab and mentor them.

I met him at my cousins wedding a few years ago. The story is his girlfriend hit him and all he did was push her off. The cops came & she had a bunch of her friends to back her up so no man is going to win that battle.

I get what you are saying, but the problem with this case is I am pretty sure there were photos of bruise marks in the police file. THAT isn't just pushing away. Also, these big guys got to realize that unless the chick has a gun or a blade, they outweigh them by at least 75-100 lbs and react accordingly, which is to walk away.

At least
75-100 pounds? So these chicks are 225-250 pounds?

I dont have an issue with anything you wrote, I just found it very odd that you estimated the female to weight only 75-100 pounds less when we are talking about a dude that is 310+ pounds LOLOL.

Maybe Taylor dates fatties and you could be right...

I would be very careful about that. I think the kid could be a very talented player, but there would be a massive shitstorm heading Bama's way if this kid got in trouble for domestic violence again. I hope he won't and don't think he will, but it would be a really bad look for Saban and co. if he got in trouble again.

Interesting POV from a dawg fan when this doesn't involve AU.
