His offensive style is exactly what we need. We shall see how good he is soon enough. I'm pretty excited about the hire. if Chizik thinks he is a good coach, I will too. For now.
I like he is a young guy too.

He had to adjust to the lack of a passer though, he really only had a bunch of runners and ran his offense as such.
He did have a beast of a RB with Pierce though...

Well he'll be in familiar territory next year.

I'm feeling like someone stole my cookie. I don't know maybe it's a good hire.

From Auburn's more non-homer blogger, Jay Tate...
Loeffler didn’t have much latitude at Temple during the 2011 season. The Owls’ tailback, Bernard Pierce, was the most overpowering offensive player in the MAC. Loeffler built the offense around Pierce, got 1,400 yards and 27 touchdowns out of him. Temple won nine games — continuing the program’s recent run of success.
It was an interesting development considering Loeffler and Temple’s head coach, former Florida offensive coordinator Steve Addazio, had so much success in Gainesville running the quarterback attack. Temple observers tell me the team simply didn’t have much talent at quarterback or wideout, which seriously affected what the team could run.
If left to his own devices, two Temple observers tell me, Loeffler would lean toward a pro-style attack with some quarterback-attack wrinkles mixed in. Still, it’s impossible to know for sure since Loeffler has coordinated one offense for one year. His track record is all but unknown.

Loeffler sounds like a high risk/high reward hire. He lacks experience but is very smart. Plus, no one really knows which schemes he will run at Auburn.

apparently he is a video guru too. He is a guy that is going to get our guys prepared scheme wise and have some solid game plans. He definitely looks to have the tools to be really good.

Can anybody summarize the rivals article about recruit's reactions?

Loeffler called our '09 Sugar Bowl game, and it was the best the offense looked all year. He's very creative and runs a prety diverse scheme. IMO he lacks quite a bit as a QB developer. I like him as a play caller though.

Jovon Robinson impressed at the Rushing attack he had at Temple.
Ricky Parks said it won't be hard to adjust to it, he's a true tight end can run, catch, block, etc..
Darrion Hutcherson likes the versatility be able to line up in the slot and also put his hand in the ground and block.

One NFL observer says Loeffler is "the most respected passing guru in the country from football nerds."

It's the reactions of Robinson, Parks, and Hutcherson.
They are all excited about the versatility of the offense, were confident about Chizik making a good hire the entire time, and the TEs were asked if Auburn's lack of an OC was used by other schools as a selling point...
ETA: Germans, but IDGAF

Jovon Robinson, Ricky Parks, and Darrion Hutcherson all like the hire and were never wavering on their decision. They really like the versatility of the offense, being able to go under center as well as spread it out
ETA: Magilla got it

The exact opposite of what we had with Gus and Roof. Now we have a homerun DC and an unproven OC.

I wonder if this will help us snatch RiCardo Louis back from FSU, snag Diggs from Florida, and help us sell some more linemen we are going after... We need to finish great. I really wish this would've been announced 3 weeks ago.

Lineman should like him. We are already facing negative recruiting about his passing stats at Temple from Richt's staff, lol.
