Send this video to the NCAA. John Copeland just admitted that Bama just "wasn't willing to give him MORE money than Auburn". He basically admitted that Alabama is paying.

If you don't think the kids getting payment of some sort your the idiot.
Not saying Bama wouldn't pay him as well maybe we were outbid who knows.
He keeps reiterating "I gotta do what's best for my family" .Theres rumblings Oxford offered incentives as well .

So, by that logic, you're admitting that TJ Yeldon saying he had to do what was best for his family was an indicator that extra benefits were involved?

Looked like dread locks was accusing Alabama and Auburn of offering Mr. Foster illegal benefits.....

Yeldon, Foster, Calloway, probable have all received improper benefits. The PTB know that those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. All schools have sophisticated methods to assist players, but out right bidding does not happen.

It did at SMU. What makes you think it still doesn't occur?

Because it has to happen too much on the down low to be outright bidding. I've heard plenty of stories about how coaches get around the rules though...no idea how true this is, but one of the things I heard was that Julio Jones was roommates with a walkon who also happened to be the son of a prominent booster. When Julio wanted cash, said son of booster would give him the debit card daddy set up for this, Julio would go withdraw cash, then do whatever he wanted to with it. The way it was related to me was that because it came from a teammate and fellow student, it's perfectly within NCAA guidelines...but I have no clue how true that is, either being within the guidelines or if it even happened.
However, that's just an example. I'm sure that everyone skirts the rules with such tricks. That was Bear Bryant's greatest strength, IMO. I know I'm in the minority of Auburn fans, but I don't believe he ever actually cheated, I just think he exploited every loophole there was to be found. Way I heard it from one old school fan was that he taught the NCAA how to cheat, because he was always one step ahead of them, but by the time other coaches caught up, the rules had been changed and the other school would get punished.

How long ago was that? Did that involve Auburn or Alabama? The closest thing I remember to out-right bidding would be a certain player from Memphis who got one of those schools on probation...

These guys are typical Gumps. They can not fathom that someone would rather play football for someone other than Saban. These idiots could never be on TV anywhere other than Alabama, where im sure they are heroes.

Errrrrm, I'm pretty sure all "kids" are getting paid in some form or fashion. How do you think all 85 of them survive? Especially considering half of them came from the projects and have about as much money as Hulk Hogan does chest hair.
It's the most retarded and hypocritical shite to whine about another team paying someone.

This guy on BOL also believes it.

Speaking of RF - I spoke with one of Rueben's former high school coaches from Georgia. He told me directly: "They (AU) bought his mom a house. The tattoo was part of the deal so he doesn't back out." RF was straight up bought, and our coaching staff knows it. Why won't our coaching staff be able to do anything about it? Because - and I quote - "They've got it down to a science. There's no way to track it." ... I believe this to be 100% fact after speaking to the Coach
