State fans. How solid is Chris Jones to State? We are hearing that there is interest in UGA. I hear that he committed before he was discovered. Is he die hard Miss State fan? Probably a long shot but thought I would ask.

They will tell you that Saban just offered and that Chris told them he won't visit them and he's 110% bulldog. That will be your answer to any question about Chris. I think he ends up sticking his recruitment but I doubt state will sign him without a very strong fight. All it takes is one school get to him and he will open it back up. Lots of schools waiting for that to happen including OM

Bama has already offered him. I guess OM is still evaluating Jones.

Ole Miss has had the same access and knowledge on Jones as State. If anyone else would be interested or have a shot it would the OOS schools that saw him in the MS-AL game. Not Ole Miss.

To answer your question, he's receiving interest from the entire SEC right now. Wouldn't be surprised if he took a couple phone calls, but would be shocked if he took any visits in any official capacity. He's about as much of an MSU lock as a guy can be. Lifelong State fan from right up the road. The only way he even really looks elsewhere at all is if Chris Wilson was to leave MSU(on bad terms)...
I wouldn't even blame him if he did take visits -- it has to all be an incredible experience for him right now that he should enjoy after flying WAY under the radar and not even getting phone calls until 4-5 months ago when we discovered him. At the end of the day, we expect him to be a Bulldog -- and to be our best recruiter along the way.

He has never been to our campus much less our camps, plus his HC is a state grad. How the hell did we have the same access as y'all?
What I meant is all it takes is a big school to make him open up his recruitment and then everyone will jump in including OM. Chris isn't going to just open his recruitment up to OM due to his commitment to state and all the state ties. But if he opens it up for the Bama's and LSUs then he will start being more open to us. I didn't say we'd flip him but saying he will not talk to any of these coaching is just as dumb

Oh I would too. State fans go ape shite on commits who take OV. If he visits anywhere it will be unofficial which means he's generally interested and not taking a fun free visit
