You can bet your bulldog arse that he won't be a problem at Alabama but once! We appreciate y'all fading his heat for us, now we'll get all the juice out of him.

No shite, he'll get a new girlfriend Alabama-style. That way when he beats the shite out of her again, her dad will just go on TV and apologize to Coach Saban for his daughter's role in the distraction.

I don't disagree with you about the way Florida handled things , BUT you don't go ranting to the media the way the father did, making outlandish claims like "thay were in a hurry to go on vacation" and crap like that.

I don't see why the father can't offer some perspective. Everyone is going crazy speculating and most paint CeCe in some sort of indecisive way. Early stories painted the father in a position of "preventing" the signing.

It could be that UF simply bungled the recruitment. I find it ironic how much internet fans trust the 247, rivals guys info but all of them benefit from these forms of controversies and it is in their best interest to perpetuate them. Could it be that the kid is just confused and taking a few days to figure things out?

So I'm assuming Saban would not accept his commitment after this 'fiasco'? I Bama signs him and gives us all another reason to laugh at your crusty old arse.
You stupid bastard. Where did I say that Saban wouldn't accept him? I said that I believe that Jefferson and family are trouble. As do all our schools, Alabama takes projects, potential problems, and previous offenders. I'm just stating that it's my opinion that there'll be controversy around him in the future.

Five-star defensive end CeCe Jefferson has yet to sign his letter of intent for Florida and his father, Leo Jefferson, explained why on Thursday.

Leo said CeCe himself is not ready to sign it.

CeCe Jefferson announced yesterday he would sign with Florida, but has yet to send his NLI.
"He told me that yesterday after his announcement," Leo said, adding he would have been glad to sign and fax the letter to Florida if that's what his son wanted.

The holdup, Leo said, is because Gators defensive line coach Terrell Williams is reportedly leaving after just one month to accept the same position on the Miami Dolphins staff. Williams will reportedly be replaced by Texas defensive line coach Chris Rumph.

"The Florida staff never told us he was leaving," Leo said. "We don't know (Rumph) at all."

Leo said that the in-home visit with Gators coach Jim McElwain was rushed, they stayed for an hour and rushed out the door to see a 2016 prospect and only talked about the new dorms and the new facilities on the visit. The visit paled in comparison to the other in home visits, according to Leo.

Though Florida is CeCe's "dream school," neither he nor Leo felt good about the Gators staff or the changes at defensive line coach, according to Leo. Leo's wife doesn't want him to go to Florida and both parents felt CeCe should go away from home to grow up and get away from all the Gators fans in Baker County and his friends that might distract him.

Regardless, "if CeCe wants to go to Florida, we are on board," Leo said.

Leo also mentioned concern about Gators athletic director Jeremy Foley being involved in the firing of assistant coaches and how involved he is in the program. Leo doesn't believe that McElwain will have the power at Florida that Nick Saban, Hugh Freeze, Gus Malzahn, Les Miles and others have at their schools.

Leo wouldn't divulge what school he and his wife prefer for CeCe.

"The coaches at Florida wanted the letter signed by 8:30 this morning so they could go on vacation," Leo said. "(McElwain) was only head coach of all the ones recruiting him that hasn't called as of 1 p.m. Coaches from schools CeCe wasn't listing as finalists have all called, but Florida has not called him."

The NCAA prohibits coaches from publicly commenting on unsigned prospects.

Clearly, the Jeffersons aren't impressed with the lack of communication over the defensive line coach change or the recent actions of the staff.

"The staff should have considered being honest with us about the (coach) change," Leo said. "They haven't pursued CeCe nearly as hard as others and I'm not sure why."

Leo added, "they aren't going on vacation anytime soon because we're not sending that letter".
................................................

Now I want somebody to read that article and tell me that the Jeffersons aren't "iffy"

I see the Auburn minions are trying to position their sorry asses to receive this kid without a ton of scrutiny. Cecil Sr. must have taught Leo well in the art of negotiating with the barn.

That was your intent because you don't believe Alabama will get him. It's the only reason you started this thread.

The kid is trouble because he and his family were blindsided by his position coach leaving on signing day? I actually think this is pretty reasonable and his family is doing the right thing.

What I don't understand is if this is truly the reason they are holding things up, why keep saying they are committed to UF and not sign? If committed, what is there to think about?

I am hoping the kid will change to AU (don't think he will), but now I sort of want him to sign with Alabama, just for the comedy gold of watching the OP's spin

Precisely. This whole deal about everything being Florida's fault doesn't float. I'm telling everybody now that there's a cloud over this entire Jefferson situation and those folks are gonna cause some school grief.

I don't get why kids that are committed need to have a ceremony where they pick a hat? I get taking pictures of signing and such, but why the drama while you are still "committed?"

You've proven to be as stupid as your other barn brethren. As I've stated several times, who Alabama signs is Saban's business, not mine, but I see trouble down the road for whoeversigns him.

I can see ole crisp now. Sitting in his luke warm water filled aluminum bucket waiting for that fat nurse to come in and scrub his old balls. "I got em this time! Roll Tide" he says out loud, trying desperately to keep his dentures in place. "Damnit Janice! Where's my damn denture cream!"

Don't worry ole man, your dementia filled legacy of stupid comments on the rant will live on.

So whomever Saban signs is his business, but anybody Auburn signs is your business and subject to scrutiny? That's ok, we all get it

I wouldn't mind Auburn taking CeCe. And I can promise you that anything said on here wouldn't bother me. Why would it?

The situation is strange. Rumors floating around. Blame yourselves for making signing day the circus it is.
