I agree regarding a lot of people jumping the gun on where he commits but I do feel UA is in better shape and not because of everything since his twitter posting.
I also think it has to do with getting it over with which will allow both staffs to move on. Whoever does not get him will still recruit him hard.

You didn't answer why all the Bama love in West Monroe. I'd like to know why you think this is.
In answer to your questions, actually yes, there is a chance that people in West Monroe might like Bama because they are winning. Have you ever heard of a bandwagon fan? I'm guessing you have, and I'm guessing you know that the state of Louisiana has bandwagon fans just like any other state. Yes, there is also a chance that some of these same folks love Saban because he is on top right now, and maybe they loved him when he was a coach in their state. Not everyone in Louisiana is an LSU fan, just like not everyone in Alabama is a Bama fan.

No I am talking about all the bullshite that has suddenly changed in favor of Bama when the fact of the matter is that Cam hasn't said anything what so ever regarding his decision! Its like someone came to them in their dreams and told then who he's picking!
I think it has more to do with the fact that he recently visited Bama and his friend committed to Bama a few days ago. Are people reading the tea leaves? Yes, but the tea leaves appear to point to Bama.

If he made a decision date he knows where he is going
Coaches know where he is going most likely
Coaches talk
He is going to bama

He is going to bama

One day we are going watch Bama program burn to the ground.

Sorry guys, cam is coming to LSU.
I just talked to my contact in west Monroe. He told me cam is actually related to the Duck Commander, Willie Robinson.
Game. Over.

Solid response
It has as much merit as what you posted.
There is a group of people in West Monroe wearing Alabama shirts and yelling Roll Tide at Robinson and what not. There is a group that is connected to Robinson and that are suddenly affiliated with Alabama. This is not happening because people are getting on the "bandwagon" and like a winner.
C'mon man.
It is the same thing as the guy who changed oil in Thibodaux a couplle of years ago when Greg Robinson went to Auburn. That little pipeline got completely shut down all of a sudden, didn't it?
The same thing is happening here. If the actual players aren't being paid, the people around them who influence them are getting benefits. If you don't think it is happening, you are blind.
I don't even know if it is illegal. I am simply saying that it is unsustainable and it is recruit specific and it does not illustrate a trend in an area. When there aren't recruits that Saban wants out of West Monroe, the Bama fans will disappear.
Now, he is doing the same with LF. We'll see how that works out.

Thats the thing, why would you believe he is committing b/c of Sims? Don't you think LSU would have offered Sims given that fact. It has nothing to do with the visit to Bama or he would have committed a few days after. He is just ready to get it over with imo and its 50/50 at this point not 90/10 like all the Bama faithful thinks!

Let me guess this has quickly dissolved into a if he picks Bama it's because Bama payed him or his people.

Who the hell is Willie Robinson?

We need to stop being so picky about buying players. Go all in, buy all the Louisiana recruits instead of just paying for Robinson and letting LSU get everyone else.

IMO, it's Bama
And I give the kid credit for getting his friend a schollie and going ahead and pulling the trigger early enough for LSU to make alternate plans.
Having said this, would be an awesome troll job if it were LSU.

Guys, I know Cam personally. A couple of days ago we were chilling at his favorite restaurant, which just happens to be Chuck E Cheese's, and he told me he would be the next Bama LT drafted in the first round of the NFL. He said he loves the coaching staff, and the tater tots in the cafeteria. Plus, it just makes sense since his girlfriend just got a job on campus and transferred there.

He had a mouthful of corndogs at the time. He MAY have said Robertson.

No. That is not what I am saying (not completely, anyway). I am talking about how Saban recruits. He recruits the whole family, all of the handlers, girlfriends, uncles, cousins, friends - everyone. It is a holistic approach. Then, he leaves and suddenly these people around the top recruits start getting benefits after Saban is gone.
Do you deny this?
My point is simply that this is how Saban rolls. I don't even know if it is agains the rules. The recruit might not get anything. His family might not either. It might not even be money but the promise of a job or an opportunity. It works. It is how he recruits. He isn't just meeting with the recruit in the living room and saying how great Alabama is and then the recruit says, "Wow, you're right. I'm going THERE!"
And, my point in saying this is that this approach works 1 out of 10 times in Lousiana. It works on guys who believe that they are the chosen ones. Landon Collins, for example. Well, now he has broken up with the girlfriend and he still isn't starting, so much of Saban's pitch did not materialize.
I don't blame Saban. He is a master. I am not even saying it is against the rules. But, the master of the "bump" in the hallway will do everything he can to get the top recruits. Everyone else is playing "catch up." But, it does not mean that Saban controls Louisiana or that suddenly West Monroe is turning Crimson.
Take it how you want. It is how recruiting works. Anyone who thinks otherwise is childlike.

But it only works that way at Bama right. LSU on the up and up?
