Herman is well known for it, even before he went to Texas. Back at Houston, he got into a yelling match with a Houston radio host on the air who questioned him on it when Kyle Allen said he met with Herman after announcing his transfer from A&M.

The man is severely immature, and rather unstable to boot. And his wife is straight up BSC - great for comedy

But once again, this is Texas. They are immune to NCAA scrutiny due to connections in the NCAA office. Always have been.

Worked for Lil Jordan Humphrey

Don't need a big arm QB when you are a physical WR.
I think Texas is wanting him on Defense as well because he has a much higher celing due to his explosiveness off the ball in pass rushing situations, high football IQ and his coverage skills.

Georgia had the best LB in their backyard and let him go to Auburn.
I still think Owen Pappoe is the best defensive recruit.

Pappoe was a scheme thing. The way they utilize the STAR LB position is perfect for his size and speed. However, you're wrong about him being the best LB in the country. He's the fourth best behind Brandon Smith (who's a bit slow and played against questionable talent as well), Marcel Brooks and NaKobe Dean.
Would have loved to see him at UGA, though.

Brooks has character trait issues.
If he can fly right he will be a beast.
That is why I like Pappoe over him.

I don’t think the kk leaving usc is the real reason a player is transferring.

There were about 3,000 posts on the Texas website last week.
About 50 had useful information.

Bru grew up USC, his MD QB and other buds are already there.
Bru wanted the LA life after football that USC offers.
Bru enjoyed is visits to Texas.
His parents loved everything Texas; The team, coaches, tradition, Austin.
The other Texas commits recruited him hard.
Especially De'Gabriel Floyd, his LB bud from California.
USC melting down made his decision difficult.
His head said Texas, his heart USC.
His parents wanted Texas.
KK came and and saved the day for USC, saying he was USC 100%. Helton told is parents the same.
Bru committed to USC.
KK resigned 2 days later.
Bru and his parents knew they got played by USC.
Bru's parents reached out to Texas.
Bru entered the transfer portal, so he could speak to Texas.
USC immedialely released him from his LOI.
Bru signed with Texas.
Arrived in Austin today.

Crazy to me the same thing would have happened to Roquan Smith if the UCLA LB coach would have waited two more days to leave.

I looked at that kid and wondered why UGA didn't even offer him. I'll say this about Kirby, he may find a bad apple every now and then, but he really does tend to recruit pretty high character kids.

Last thing any program needs is a player with a rape charge on the roster. That's a terrible position for a coach too. You're supposed to protect your kid, but to protect the program and all of the other kids you have to leave him in the cold.

...where did anyone say he was charged with rape?

Texass fans always do this when the top talent in Texas want nothing to do with their program and choose to go to a real conference.

If anything, Brooks had a “bad attitude” with this high school coach early on in his career.

Sour grapes turn burnt orange, apparently.

For what it's worth, there are comments all over the place as old as 9+ months ago where Texas mods and insiders are saying that they believe the program will largely steer clear of him and *should*, given his off the field problems. Because it's a minor in question, generally no one will clarify the "why", but it's more than just a bad attitude in all likelihood. With that said, it won't be the first guy taken at a big program that had problems in HS... Just becomes a question of can they help put him on the right path. Clearly the kid has a lot of talent.

Yeah, Texas mods have known for well over two years that he would never end up in Austin, so they try and make sense of it.

I mean, they tried to take down the Ohio State program just because the best receiver, who lives in Austin, wanted nothing to do with Texas.

All that came out of that was Ohio State firing a psycho and further proof that Herman cheated on his wife

Then she made a t-shirt and wore it to the next game

Better question is, why are fans of the Big12 on a SEC recruiting website..?
