Once you realize this it helps you understand most LSU fans when it comes to recruiting

Bama fans don't realize how good they have it with regards to correct recruiting info

funny, less than 5 minutes ago you posted Cam was coming to recurit for bama and even told someone to pay attention, as if it were 100% fact.

Now, it's "we'll have to see"?

Hes constantly talking out of his arse and notice he hasnt responded to questions that at this point last year gumps were claiming "legit sources" that Robert N was one of those super secret covert silent commitments. Hell he so good at it that he even has signed and enrolled at Ole Miss!

I guess we'll see when the time comes, but at this time last year Robert Nkemdiche was believed to be heading to Alabama. There's no denying that. Of course, Alabama wasn't going to sign teammates to get him like Clemson tired. Nor did we have a brother on the roster to combat the desire of his family for them to be together, in the case with Ole Miss. Cam Robinson may very well end up signing with LSU, but it won't be because of the similar issues to RN's recruitment. And AS OF RIGHT NOW, CR is looking more towards Alabama than LSU. But this is recruiting afterall, and it can change with the wind.

the best part is how every La recruit they want is similar to landon collins in some way.

There's a lot of broadly painted pictures in this thread from both sides. A LSU fan was trying to compare two high profile recruiting processes that had nothing to do with one-another.

I'm not a recruit, and I want to leave this state so why not them.

I was just asking a simple question to you & Tool

& Tool FTR no mod ever said ANYTHING about his mom's desire to move or motive & I never said they did, you assumed

You can try to throw the Robert N situation around STILL but every Bama poster, every national analyst, SE analysts, Georgia analysts (In the state is what I mean) all said at this point last year that he was a lock to Bama, in fact other than the guys LSU has committed I would argue that he SEEMED like more of a lock than any of the "LSU Locks" like Fournette, and Tony Brown are percieved to be this year. It was the perfect storm that had to happen for him to end up at OM, and in the end...yes he did, no excuses for EVERYONE being wrong

I'm sorry to all LSU guys that think they still have a cdhance with him, but when a reporter that deals ALMOST PRIMARILY with the coaches including Saban and the team and very little recruiting (who he deflects) decides to post since he was told directly that Robinson has already told Bama staff he is coming & he is waiting on the green light, and then his actions also resemble that I believe him 100%

So I'm not making any of this up, it is done

The RN situation highlights what a crock the whole "lock" label is in late spring/summer. It happens every year, and with earlier and earlier commitments, the opportunity for flips and decommits grows... make the idea that anyone is a lock (even after commiting sometimes) is a joke.

The more high profile they are, and the bigger circus their recruitment is, the less likely they are a "lock".

Exactly. Thats why saying dumb crap like "its done", "its over" is ridiculous. I dont care what he supposedly said to some coaching staff.

CR has very significant reasons to stay. The longer this goes the harder it is to disregard them. Ive seen it time and time again.

Gunner Kiel was at the airport
Cassius Marsh DE at UCLA was chanting LSU into the camera at the Army AA game.
Rasco wanted to go OOS but in the end he couldnt go to a place Mom wasnt high on.
Robert N-everyone knows the situation.

CRs recruitment will not stop till his name is on the line. He just left the bama camp. Miles has a very good relationship with his family. He hasnt even been to LSUs camp yet. Anyone saying this is done-especially with no public commitment-is a fool.

C-Rob's recruitment is a little more than just "off a visit high". He has been recruited by both staffs for quite some time. It will come down to where he is comfortable.

I stopped here

LSU's coaches (specifically one) do this practice to reporters not Bama's

And I understand your point, and I can respect it so I'll stop I apologize for claiming that it is done

I'll refrain

Agreed to a point. I have said in this thread I think hes a Bama lean.

I completely agree with this and think hes very comfortable with both staffs. Thats why I mentioned the camp timings. He just spent a 24/7 with a coaching staff he likes. Its fun. LSU hasnt had that opportunity to match up again yet.

My main point was I dont care what he told the coaching staff Dominick Jackson-the point of this thread-told not only UCLA staff but the nation that he was going to UCLA.

But stronger reasons particularly Bama's track record for developing OL to go to Bama, if his momma keeps him in state then so be it

Adam don't be naive about him being on a "visit high" it is much more than that

what reasons beside geography and (shocker) a mom wanting him to stay closer? certainly not LSU's track record with OL in recent years (ok but not great). I can only find 2 Offensive lineman from LSU who have been drafted at all since Saban arrived at alabama, Herman Johnson in the 5th round and Barksdale in the 3rd. Alabama has had 6 lineman taken in the same time frame, 4 in the 1st round, 1 in the 3rd, and 1 in the 4th. Everyone who started at LT since saban arrived is in the NFL now, and we are going to put another in the 1st round next year. Its not often that a starting position on the Bama Oline is wide open, and thats a huge opportunity for someone like CR. Quite frankly im shocked Tunsil didnt jump on the opportunity to come to bama last year, redshirt, then takeover the LT spot.

Lol she had no problem moving to a extremely pro LSU HS, and she is now learning it didn't work on him, since he will likely be an EE he will commit to Bama
