I saw this recently and it drives the point home - children born the last year A&M won a conference title are getting their drivers licenses. Children born the last year A&M won a national title are just about all dead.

A&M has a lot of reasons for optimism. If A&M had played Texas the past 2 season, the aggies would have destroyed them. Still, no one will respect you until A&M does something that matters for the first time since the Chrysler Building opened to the public.

Where'd the tea-sipper and his circle of snickering email friends go?
Clearly this thread made his day--enough to send him skipping over here with drool down his chin.
:)

He said he had to go, ahem, "back to work."

As are the litany of recruits who choose Sumlin, too.

Only an A&M fan would try to legitimize on-field underperformance with "durrrr RECRUITING!"

I look forward to y'all hiring Ed Orgeron when Sumlin bolts.

Oh I love these data points. Like I care what my alma mater did before I attended there (became a fan) let alone before I was even alive.

I can prove it to you as well. Let's say your first semester at school was the fall of 2000. Would you rather your alma mater be Team A or Team B.

Team A:
1999 and earlier - Went undefeated and unscored upon every year and won the conference/national championship every year. So 90+ conference and national championships.

2000-present-Lost every single game and never scored a point

Team B:
1999 and earlier - Lost every game and never scored a point

2000-present - Win every game without getting scored on, NC etc.
