The composite ranking is the best ranking for a high school player, so yeah.

Generally a good way to try and eliminate bias. With that said, no perfect science.

Georgia is trying to get Oscar Delp and has Pearce Spurlin #2 on composite committed for next year.

The Skinner kid could end up like Kyle Pitts - he's a freak athlete. Great get by Bama.

Does he really only weigh 210?

Great pickup, but this is a weird attempt at a flex. UGA, Clemson, and plenty of other schools have had success recruiting talented players out of IMG. They're a feeder school for college football. It's kind of their purpose. UA happens to be one of the schools that has landed more than a few of their commitments.

Quick look at the last few cycles shows me the following schools back to 2019 class:
(already signed first, commits or high chance targets in 22 with ?)
Bama - 4 + 2?
Clemson - 1 + 3?
UGA - 4 + 3?

Here's his description on 247... slightly dated weigh in, given the description just says "under 225 this spring before senior season started". If he's 220 now, I'd feel pretty good about what Bama's S&C could do with him.
quote:

A legit 6-foot-5 with a slender build. Wingspan stretches well over 80 inches. One of the more unique skill players in the class of 2022 given lengthy frame. Has spent majority of prep career split out wide as a jumbo wide receiver. Viewed by most college staffs, however, as a flex tight end at the next level. Extraordinary catch radius. Uses long stride to work his way down the field. Takes advantage of soft coverage on a consistent basis. Isn’t the most physical of prospects, but is relatively competitive after the catch. Track background helped foster some straight-line speed. Entry-level blocker at this stage in his development, which is almost expected for someone on the leaner side. Will obviously need to bulk up as he was under 225 pounds the spring before senior season. Also needs to get better at attacking the ball in the air and could get more fluid with his movement patterns. In no way a polished product, but has an extremely high ceiling given physical stature. Should eventually contribute for a Top 25 program and make an impact in the passing game once body matures. NFL upside.

Athletic Background
Also plays varsity basketball and has ran track at the high school level.

2021: Transferred into IMG Academy for senior season.

2020: Got snaps at WR, TE and CB for a Greer (S.C.) squad that went 3-2.

2019: Key player for a Greer program that lost in second round of South Carolina's Class AAAA state playoffs.

LSU fans are claiming QB Walker Howard is #1 LINK , but he's only #1 on the composite ranking.

Regular 247 rankings he's #5

Same thing with Jaleel.

I mean it’s only the way we’ve been doing it on the recruiting since it started.
